I've been using Mercury for three years, and it's been an excellent experience from day one. Love the app. Keeps stuff really efficient etc. The only issue is if you lose your phone logging in can be very tough and unclear. Very inefficient. They are big on security. But overall a great app and fintech company

Excellent Banking, but the Credit Card System Needs Improvement

I am genuinely satisfied with your banking services. However, I am not happy with the credit card system. The credit limit continuously changes based on the amount of cash held in the account, which makes it difficult to plan and manage cash flow. In addition, having to keep a significant amount of capital in the account just to maintain a higher credit limit reduces the overall value of the service, as that capital comes with an opportunity cost. From a financial perspective, it becomes difficult to justify tying up funds solely to increase the card limit.

I’ve been using Mercury for several years now. It is by far the best and easiest banking platform I’ve ever used. Now, 3 of my businesses and my personal banking is done via Mercury. I can comfortably say I do believe they are customer minded first when coming out with new features and products.

This bank has the worst fraud detection…

This bank has the worst fraud detection system of any bank I've ever dealt with. For several days, my virtual card was being charged by international merchants, and the bank never flagged a single transaction. By the time I noticed, I had lost over $2,000. Getting help was just as frustrating. There is no customer service phone number—you can only contact them through chat. During the chat, I had to manually identify every transaction I believed was fraudulent instead of the bank proactively reviewing the activity. After that, they emailed me requesting receipts, vendor communications, and other documentation. That makes no sense. These were fraudulent charges that I never authorized, so how could I possibly have receipts or communication with merchants I never did business with? When I didn't respond to that unreasonable request, they simply closed the case and refused to investigate further. To make matters worse, as I'm disputing the first fraud my physical card was also used fraudulently for several hundred dollars in multiple cities, even though the physical card had never left my possession. That strongly suggests the card details were compromised rather than the card being lost or stolen. Having two different cards compromised within a year points to a serious security problem. Combined with the complete lack of proactive fraud detection and an unnecessarily difficult dispute process, this has been the worst banking experience I've had. I cannot recommend this bank to anyone who values security or customer support.

Stole my money

These thieves accepted a wire to my business account of $32,000 and promptly shut down my account with no warning or explanation. They are holding my money and not answering me. I now have to sue them. DO NOT USE. Reply Response: no, they haven’t reached out for more information and I am still waiting for any kind of response as to where my money is.

I would leave zero stars if I could

I would leave zero stars if I could. 5 business days to deposit a check from the same account every month is archaic. Deposit standards are inconsistent. Customer support is unbearable. I can not imagine what kind of business would find this style of banking helpful.
