Products appear good quality but their service is unbelievably bad. I am still waiting for an item I purchased over 2 years ago! I have bought many items over the years and each time they are delayed for some reason or other. The usual time delay is about 8 to 12 months which is totally unacceptable - but 2 years delay is clearly ridiculous.
Their customer service works great, sometimes they do unbelievable things that you can call a miracle. Pre-order shipping and production take time, you must be patient but you will receive what you paid for. It's my second order and I can't wait to place more!
ordered a box of 12, the item arrived super fast but my local post office was giving me problem, after talking to mightyjaxx they really helped me a lot and beyond expected. very very happy about your customer service and general service, love your figures!
Ordered a vinyl figure for my partner and it arrived fast with free postage.
I was so pleased that I pre-ordered a more expensive item afterwards.
If I have any issues with my order I'll update my review but my experience with Mighty Jaxx has been positive.
Don't!
Ordered a toy that took forever to be delivered then the delivery man knocked at my door and I had to pay extra customs to receive the package. Like awaiting the package wasn't torment enough to slap me with extra charges?!
Being explicit about extra charges is a customer right, fix-up.
These guys should be charged with embezzlement. OMG, what a rip off scam. I made the mistake of ordering something from them for a birthday gift, forgot that I'd tangled with them before. It took them three weeks and an intervention by PayPal to even get them to respond to me. In the meantime, I'd ordered the exact same item on eBay and had it shipped and received in only three days' time.
Also ordered a pre-order, know folks that have had pre-orders with them going on 4-5 years and nothing. Discovered they're using pre-order funds to build a ponzi pyramid scheme. Believe me, it isn't going towards the design and collectors of the vinyl toys. They're just ripping you off.
I'm going to contact each and every one of the designers they claim to have relationships with and let them know how these guys are trashing their reputations and using their talents.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
I pre-ordered a $230 item in January 2019 that was supposed to be completed and shipped "1st Quarter 2019". Come March it was pushed to "2nd Quarter 2019". Come June is was pushed "1st Quarter 2020." They didn't send email updates about these pushes, I would find out on my own by visiting the product page every so often. At this point I decided I was done waiting and asked for a refund. They said they couldn't give me one because my preorder money went into the production of the item and "gears are already in motion" as they put it. They said "as a collector I should know that these things take time". I told them I'm not a "collector", I just buy things like this sometimes, and I've never before ordered anything from Mighty Jaxx. I've ordered from Sideshow a few times and the estimated completion dates for preorders have always — in my experience — been pretty on the nose. I just came across this item on instagram, thought it was extremely cool, and figured I'd be able to enjoy it by the date advertised at the time of the order or soon after. I can understand setbacks but these date changes were getting silly. This isn't Kickstarter, I didn't know I was funding the item into existence and it could be years before I have one. At the time of the order it was expected to ship within a couple of months according to the product page, and with the number of pushbacks since then how much confidence should I have in the 2020 date? They still refused a refund, so okay, I guess I'll wait. Between June 2019 and now, November 2019, I forgot it existed. Then suddenly last week I recalled it and went to the site to check the latest status. The item did not exist on the site any longer and my order receipt from January took me to a "page not found" when trying to check my order information on the site. It was like the order and item never existed. By this time the card and PayPal account I originally made the preorder with no longer existed. I contacted them explaining that if the item was cancelled and they refunded me I didn't receive it because I received no correspondence from them by email about it and the card and PayPal account no longer exist. They replied saying they already refunded me via PayPal August 30th, included a PDF of the refund that stated "pending", probably for the reasons I explained and they ignored, and they didn't at all acknowledge anything I said about the non-existent account and card they would have refunded to. I contacted PayPal and they said the money was bounced back to them September 30th. I emailed them again saying this and they replied AGAIN confirming they already sent my refund apparently failing to read or bothering to understand anything I'm trying to communicate. I emailed AGAIN explaining it like they're 4 and finally they refunded me to a new PayPal account I gave them information for. Unfortunately they sent me the money as a payment, so PayPal took a $14 cut of the money and are holding the funds for another 21 business days, but at least this is over. Was the item cancelled? Did it ever reach production? No idea, they didn't acknowledge that either.
I used to be a big fan of Mighy Jaxx. Until I ran into a problem with one of the toys I ordered. Although they were polite they flat out refused to solve the problem, claiming nothing was wrong with the toy. According to them i should maim it by holding a hairdryer to it and twisting it. Even when i showed them with pictures that it is impossible. The toy plus shipment cost me 260 dollars! Now that I know that they only take your money and offer no customer service whatsoever, I’ll never order again. Be smart, stay way from these toy cowboys!
Been waiting since October 2017 it's now March 2019 and still no word on the 150.00 purchase I made. They wont give me a refund and say that money went to the toy that is not even made?? Tired of having to keep track of this money and I'm going to keep posting on their Instagram so I can let everyone know. Smh this sucks I saved for months only to be burned.....
Purchased a figure in October 2017 which, as of February 2019 is still not with me.
Instead of getting in touch with you to let you know that production of the item has been delayed, you are expected to trawl through their site to find your item and see just how long it has been delayed.
Customer support insist no refunds can be given and that you have to wait for your product. As far as I'm aware, I will never receive this product.
Never ever buy from Mighty Jaxx! They are scammers! They take your money but never send you the product!
Never ever buy from Mighty Jaxx! They are scammers! They take your money but never send you the product! I had placed a pre-order on their art figure Nekoro dated back on September 12, 2017 and was expecting the product to be shipped in the “4th quarter in 2017” as it was stated on their website at the time of purchase. 2017 has passed and so I emailed them on January 2, 2018 to ask the whereabouts of my order and they replied the next day telling me that the delays in shipment were caused by unforeseen circumstances that were beyond their control and they will only ship out collectibles that match up to their standards. I was also told that the new estimated ship date would be 1st quarter of 2018 so I’ve patiently waited again. Of course, there were no sign of shipment yet and I had to email them again on May 12, 2018 complaining about the issue. Once again in their reply, they told me they have been facing production issues and the quality of the samples are just not up to their standards, hence they are unable to approve it for the mass production of the product, blah blah, blah. And so I gave them another chance because in those two emails, the person that I spoked with (Vivian Lim) sounded sincere and polite and kept stressing on the fact that how their company pride on integrity to their customers. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2018 had passed, and again I have wasted my life waited for nothing. I’ve decided I have waited long enough so I emailed them on December 6, 2018 teliing them it’s ridiculous that it’s been over a year already and that I wanted a refund. Another person (Samuel) replied to my email this time and refused to refund. He gave me that crap of how difficult it would be for a small company like them to honour cancellations when resources have already been invested to make the item specially for you. Now it’s stated on their website that the new estimated shipping date of Nekoro would be the 2nd Quarter 2019 but I wonder if I’ll ever receive it in my lifetime.
