Easy Recipes

Recipes are easy to make, tasty And if you follow them easy to enter into diary. More difficult to add your own recipes and not sure how to enter subs to existing recipes, such as instead of corn tortillas enter zero carb. Ingredients are easy to find in stores so no really unusual items . Available readings provide good insight. Overall has helped me lose 7 lbs easily. Will continue to follow

What I love. What could be improved

I love the completeness of the menus and shopping lists. Recipes are in general easy and tasty. I wish that suggested menus took into account the opening of a can of beans for one meal, say, and then followed up the same week with a meal or meals to use up the rest of the can. Also, it would be good to have meal ‘prep’ advice each week indicating how much brown rice (or other grain) one will need for that week’s recipes so that it can be prepared in advance.

I'm actually sticking to a diet

I discovered my glucose levels were higher than normal and have gained 20 pounds over the last few years. Ineeded to do something healthy for myself. I thought this app's meal plan made sense but was reluctant to try because following a diet never works. I get too hungry! However, MyDiabetes is working very well for me. I love the grocery shopping list and ability to swap meals with other meals that match my weekly grocery list. No fancy ingredients, no complicated recipes. Just healthy, whole foods. And, the best part, I'm seeing results! The only drawback is the $40+ monthly membership after the trial period. However, the app is good... once you get past all the upsells during installation. Sadly, I'm just not sure I'll pay that much to continue.
