Spam/Phishing Emails
We had received a disturbing email regarding our CPanel and WebMail accounts. I felt that it may be a scam, but contacted NameHero to report it and check our status. The information received is Important enough to share here, with all of you: "Yes, that is spam/phishing/junk. Delete it and move on. Advise customers to never click on any link like that. These types of emails will attempt to 'harvest' your login credentials by claiming to be a legit source. Once you enter your information, your mailbox now has a compromised password. So please never click any of those types of emails. Sending to us is safe, but you'll see many more of these types of scams in the future. What amazing tech support they have at NameHero! This time, I worked with Sam D. His assistance was excellent!! I was working with an important deadline, and he worked expertly, diligently, and expediently to get me where I needed to be to make a deadline by the end of the weekend. What I love-and what sets NameHero apart from most tech companies-is they will step in and actually perform the technical steps for the end-user. Excellent Technical Support From NameHero NameHero’s support team did an excellent job helping me solve a difficult server security problem on my website. My public forum worked normally for regular visitors, but OpenAI’s ChatGPT connection was receiving a 403 Forbidden error. This was not an obvious problem, and it took careful troubleshooting to identify the cause. Sam D from Technical Support stayed with the issue, checked the server-side security, found the specific ModSecurity rule causing the block, and disabled only that rule instead of weakening security across the entire account. Once the change was made, the website began working correctly. I appreciate the professional communication, the targeted solution, and the fact that they did not simply give me a generic answer. NameHero’s support helped get Biblical Truth Forum working the way it should. I highly recommend them.
