shocked to receive a bill for coverage dating back two years

I have been a loyal NJM auto and homeowners policyholder for nearly 20 years and have paid many thousands of dollars in premiums over that time. This May, I paid my renewal premiums in full. Then, in July NJM charged my account an additional premium retroactive to April 2024. I was shocked to receive a bill for coverage dating back two years. In my opinion, this retroactive charge is unfair and feels like a ripoff. Longtime customers deserve transparency and advance notice—not unexpected charges for prior policy periods.
