Project Manager is everything!

I like how Penji has talented artists and delivers on timelines better than other providers. They manage multiple projects for us concurrently, which is incredibly helpful. I appreciate that they have really understood our brand and manage the various clients we work with seamlessly. It's also great that multiple team members can use the service at the same time. I love working with our art designer, Frainy, who organizes all our projects and matches us with the best designer for our vision. She is the best part about the software!!

Their team consistently understands the brief and delivers high quality work that feels right for each individual business. I've tried more than a few of these creative services and so far, Penji is the best of the best! Their system to submit project requests is one of the simplest and most streamlined. Their designers are obviously familiar with the industries I'm working in AND they incorporate their own creativity from the first go-around, so no copy and paste Canva templates. Their project management team is communicative and diligent. Turnaround time on projects beats most competitors out there. And best of all, the designs have performed in my client's ad accounts. If you're a media buyer like me, or a business looking to beef up your creative output for ads or social media, my advice is to stop shopping around and give Penji a try. They've been a valuable addition to my company.

We decided to give Penji a try after not being happy with our previous design firm, and it has honestly been such a great decision for our team. From our first meeting, Pepe, our design manager, made the experience feel easy and exciting. He walked us through the dashboard, explained how everything worked, and brought such a confident, fun, and creative energy right away. That gave us a lot of trust from the beginning. Over the past six months, we have seen a real transformation in our creative materials. Penji has helped us improve so many parts of our marketing, including sales collateral, one-pagers, two-page assets, social creative, LinkedIn ads, email graphics, webinar graphics, thumbnails, presentation support, report designs, video repurposing assets, and other day-to-day design needs that come up for a growing startup marketing team. We've been using Penji for several years, and they have become an important extension of our team. As a church, we need high-quality graphic design that is creative, reliable, and affordable, and Penji has consistently delivered. One of the things I appreciate most is how much their customer service has improved over the years. Projects are assigned quickly, communication is responsive, and because many of their designers work in different time zones, I can often submit a request one day and have quality work waiting for me the next morning. Like any creative service, not every designer is the perfect fit. My advice is simple: if a designer isn't understanding your vision or isn't listening carefully, don't hesitate to request someone else. Penji makes that process easy, and once you find the right designer, they truly become part of your team. Our most recent experience has been exceptional. We developed a large project for our parish called CANTICO: A Franciscan Prayer Circuit in our church. Our designer, Lorenz, was outstanding. Why Penji Became Our Go-To Design Partner

I've worked with a number of creative services and design teams over the years, and Penji has easily been the best experience we've had so far. Their team is incredibly responsive, turnaround times are fast, and the quality of work has consistently exceeded our expectations. One of the things I appreciate most is their willingness to iterate and collaborate until the final product is right. The designers genuinely seem invested in producing quality work rather than simply checking a box and moving on to the next request. That said, there are a few areas where I think the experience could be improved. The queue and project funnel system can feel a bit awkward at times, especially when managing multiple priorities. It's not a dealbreaker, but there is definitely a learning curve, and some projects require more revisions than I'd like before landing exactly where we need them. I also wish additional active queues were more affordable. As our workload has grown, we've found ourselves wanting more concurrent capacity, but the jump in cost can be difficult to justify for smaller teams. My biggest criticism is around Boosts. While I understand the intent behind them, I don't love that they consume active queue slots and can still require multiple rounds of revisions. When you're paying extra to accelerate a project, it would be nice to see a little more flexibility in how those requests are handled. Even with those criticisms, the positives far outweigh the negatives. The quality, consistency, communication, and speed of the Penji team have made them an invaluable partner for our business. Out of all the design services and creative teams we've worked with, Penji has delivered the best overall experience, and they've become a trusted extension of our organization. If you're looking for a reliable design partner and understand how to work within their system, I would absolutely recommend giving Penji a try.

Accommodating, courteous and skilled

I have very specific requirements and after a few months I was concerned that the way I wanted to work was not going to fit into Penji's business model: I wanted to make ongoing changes and upload revised files and have the designer use my uploaded files rather than trying to replicate what I did. After some back and forth, we have a good flow and the designers work within my parameters. I have many clients with vastly different needs. The Brands help keep things organized. Everyone is professional and customer-service oriented. If something doesn't land right, they go above and beyond to fix/rework it. And seem to have endless patience.

We love using Penji

We love using Penji. We are a small business, it is difficult to have a full time designer on staff. Being able to have access to controllable design and being able to rely on relationship based designers is amazing. It has pushed our company to be able to take on projects we would not have the resources otherwise.

We're a small nonprofit newsroom, so we don't have a full-time designer on staff. Penji has been a useful solution for keeping up with the volume of design work we need — social assets, event materials, presentation decks, that kind of thing. The on-demand model is the real selling point. When we need something, we can request it without scoping a whole freelance project. That said, revisions can be a bit of a loop. Sometimes the first pass misses the brief and it takes a couple rounds to land where we need it. And that gets a little bit frustrating sometimes. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you have very specific creative direction. Overall it's been a solid tool for a lean team that needs design support without hiring for it.
