Our package arrived with significantly more dead bees than our two previous packages from another company. The feeder can had NO holes so the bees were not able to feed during shipment. They seemed much more sluggish than the others we installed this Spring. I called to complain, Laura seemed unconcerned, just said she didn't package them for shipment. No real apology, did not offer another package or a discount on this package. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service. I will not recommend or ever order bees from Pigeon Mt. again.
Purchased hive and accessories along with bees. All arrived as advertised and am very pleased with my first experience with beekeeping thanks to Pigeon Trading!
I've ordered hives and package bees the last 2 yrs. The delivery of the supplies was prompt. Most of the bees came in when expected. I was contacted up front on the bees that couldn't ship on the selected date.
I was very impressed with the lady who called me to fix the price of my purchase. I had not caught that I had been overcharged and her honesty meant alot to me. She took time out of her day to call and inform me what had happened and then fixed it. Thank you!
Best honeybee company in the country.Quality products for a fair price.I would recommend this company to anyone ranging from novice to experienced bee keeper.
Both packages of bees I ordered arrived in three days with very little mortality and live queens. Both hives are doing well as of this date. Great service, thanks! John Bryson
Bee Package delivered -- Excellent
I ordered a package from PMTC having waited too late to get one locally here in the New Mexico Rio Grande valley south of Albuquerque; They shipped USPS on the date they said -- two day delivery -- the post office had some sort of delay and the bees actually arrived on the morning of the third day. Package in great shape (but the mail person was concerned because she thought some had gotten out) so they called me and I went and picked them up; the outside bees probably traveled all the way on the outside as they sometimes do -- anyway-- bees are healthy, happy and in their new Top Bar hive.
