Did left a brassy hue on roots, so using a purple shampoo (toner) was necessary to tone down the orange brassiness. Application was easy. Fragrance light and pleasant even for those who are sensitive to strong smells. Did not cover evenly and left a darker blonde spot in the center of scalp. Hair felt soft afterwards. Works well if you need to extend time between highlights.
The product is great and the customer service is even better. After using the shampoo, my hair is very soft and much more manageable. My stubborn greys resisted, so the application definitely didn't last as long as I had hoped. Regardless, I love the product and feel confident that I can use the shampoo several times between salon trips as needed.
I was hesitant to try Polar Haircare, but I thought if I really hate it or if it didn’t cover the gray, then I’d just go back to box color. I’m happy to say that it works perfectly—so much better than I expected! My hair feels healthier and I no longer worry about putting harsh chemicals in my hair every month. I started out with the dark brown, but now I’ve started mixing the dark and medium brown to get the chocolate brown color I want. Thank you Polar!
Well I bought the light brown shade at first and didn’t get great results as it came out a bit orange/reddish, but as most companies say choose a shade lighter etc, I went for the Dark brown next and WOW!! What a difference! I’m not just saying it but it’s THE best most natural looking dye I’ve Ever used, brilliant coverage and no obvious lines anywhere, blends perfectly and very easy to use, made a massive difference to my beard too!! Full recommendation from me🙏

It works really well. I asked my sister and my parents to use it as they have a lot of grey hair. After using it once, all of us could see the difference. However, when I wash my hair, it feels so rough so I had to wash my hair with a good shampoo. Anyway it works well so I will keep buying it.

The coverage was amazing! I've been dying my hair for well over 40 years now. I've used tons of vegetable dyes for bright colors, bleaches to get light colors, semi permanent and permanent dyes and I was truly surprisingly impressed with Polar! Normally, my hair has the look of home dye, commonly showing brassy roots not matching the color on the length. I've tried so many brands, combinations, colors with a lot of disappointing results. My grays now are often hard to color and fade rapidly. My PH affects the pigments from time to time and I'm often unhappy with the results so I over compensate by spending a ton on oils to smooth and shine the ratty mop I am forced to wear for the next 8 weeks, so my damaged hair has time to recover. This was definitely different! In a really great way! The smell and texture were great! No harsh uneven color. And no amonia smell or texture. The even coverage was blissful! Thank you Polar!
The product is very good I like it I've used it a couple times already. But I have to use a lot on my hair because I have thick hair but it did help with the gray they're pretty much gone. I didn't like how long it took to get here but it was worth it I guess and I probably will buy some more

Here is my honest review of their color shampoo. This product does what they say. It covered my color resistant gray hair. I did keep it on longer than 10min probably closer to 20-25min at salon I would have to sit and wait 45min to process! I did use more than 2-3 pumps, closer to 5. Next time I do it I will start with the area around my face so it can stay on for the longest time as that is where most of my gray is. I did miss some areas because it's difficult to see without my glasses. I did use gloves too. I did wash my hair after coloring it with their color protectant shampoo because I wasn't sure I got all the color out of my hair. It's almost 3 wks since coloring and I have minimal gray showing from regrowth but it is not as noticeable as when I would go get a retouch at salon. I had zero irritation from the product as some have mentioned. I thought I might because most salon color itches or burns my scalp. You seriously can't go wrong trying this product especially for the price. Three bottles is the price of one retouch at salon. Give it a shot! I'm glad I did. (I have not received any type of compensation for my review)

The product didn't work for me and dried out my hair. I reached out for a refund, but the company went dark on me. I ended up contacting BBB.org and have yet to get my refund. They advertise no mess, yet they include three pairs of gloves. The product made my bathtub super slick. And it didn't work at all! Buyer, beware! Customer service and the so-called "guarantee" are non-existent.
Fantastic product. Unfortunately I didn’t get photos but the before looked like a bird had deposited on the top of my head. The after looks like - three compliments within an hour of doing it! Love how easy it was to use, how odourless and no staining. Did it before work! Amazing.
My sister in law and I used both the Black due and I used the Light brown dye. It made our hair so soft and covered our gray instantly. The black dye did stain our hands . But the light brown didn't
I was so impressed with this product. I normally make a huge mess when dying my hair but this was so easy. The dye went on so easy and spread so effortlessly. The colour was perfect, soft and exactly what i wanted. It wasnt too dark and my hair was so soft after washing and drying it. Super happy knowing I can now look after my hair at home without spending hours at the hairdressers, as well as the crazy $$$ it costs these days. What a great product...I tried it 2days ago...I was due to dye my hair and tried my new shampoo....put it on my dry hair, waited 10 minutes , got in the shower, no mess ...perfect coverage...just love this

Barely covers grey. What I've found is that you use way more product and take way more time than advertised. You can't say it's a 10 minute process if it takes 20 plus minutes and involves a hairdryer, gloves and a applicator brush.
Great job covering gray hair and no more need to dye my hair.
