Service is great... until something goes wrong with your order.

Been a great Printful customer for a year and have built a significant part of my business around their platform. The problem is that everything looks great until something goes wrong. Products on the website state fulfilment times of 4-5 business days, yet after an order is placed, the estimated delivery timeframe suddenly becomes 7-10 business days or even longer. Customers only discover the true timeline after committing their money. What makes this even more frustrating is the customer support experience. Every time you reach out, you are met with the same scripted responses and links to information that is already available on the website. It often feels like you're talking to robots rather than people genuinely trying to solve a problem. The fulfilment times have become increasingly unreliable. Orders can sit for days before production even begins, and delays of a week or more are becoming far too common. For businesses like mine, these delays damage customer trust and reputation because our customers don't blame Printful, they blame us. Printful seems to have reached a point where demand is exceeding its operational capacity. If that is the case, then either expand production capacity or stop taking on more orders than can be handled efficiently. I never thought I would say this, but I am now seriously considering moving my business elsewhere. Not because of one delayed order, but because of the consistent pattern of delays, poor communication, misleading fulfilment expectations, and customer service that rarely provides meaningful solutions. Printful used to be a company I confidently recommended. Today, I can't say the same.

Easy to use for Etsy sellers

Printful has been easy to connect with my Etsy store. My orders synced correctly, the product details were clear, and the dashboard is simple to use. I like that the fulfillment and shipping process is organized, which makes it easier for a new seller to manage orders. So far, my experience has been good.

Two out of three orders were screwups

Two out of three orders were screwups. Hard to believe they pass the Etsy smell test. I would never order anything off Etsy or from these people. Total garbage.

Despite my PLEAS for them not use evri as ... of course evri lose everything, they still shipped via evri and .. unsurprisingly the order is now lost. Tracking is via Lithuania who then keep all the actual couriers and shippers a secret.. so you don't actually know who or when it's going to turn up You can't talk to a human to start with - you have to talk to their infuriating AI sparky who has a habit of asking you the same questions in a cycle. products are probably really good. however, penny pinching on everything after the product is made just makes me wish the internet was never invented

No problems, till there is a problem

We have used Printful for 5 years with a mostly good to excellent results. However, the problem is when there is a problem! The most recent: a shirt was about to be overdue to ship and had to find out way which takes time and you're at the mercy of a bot. Then I find out it is being reprinted, fine updated ship times and it still didn't get completed in a timely manner. So, our shop suffers bad stats for this. Then after 10 days it just sits in pre transit like it never gets picked up, now it is missing! So, the back and forth continued. I did refund client because it was so long and did get a refund from Printful, but that is little to help with our dissatisfied customer and our shop suffering from bad shipping times and the amount of time trying to fix and figure out what was going on. Printful has awful customer service, and they don't care about your business.

Very affordable AND user friendly

Very affordable, user friendly site that makes it not such a confusing process, even for the newbys. I was new to this particular process of e-commerce and it was super easy to figure out and completely affordable. great site!

Inconsistent fulfilment

I ordered an initial test print before submitting a larger run. The test print arrived in just under 7 days from the point of ordering and had been printed and sent from within the UK. Pleased with this, I ordered a selection of 15 additional t-shirts, in a variety of sizes. I had a deadline for these and needed them within 3 weeks, however, as my initial experience was so positive, I did not expect any issues and thought that 3 weeks would be plenty of time. Unfortunately, this second order is being fulfilled in Lithuania (you appear to have no choice or influence as a customer as to where the order gets fulfilled.) The factory broke the order into several independent print runs and shipments, the first of which arrived after 14 days, the rest of which is still missing and will now be late for the event that I needed the t-shirts for, meaning only a third of our team will be able to wear our t-shirts. What's worse, tracking is so poor that I have no idea when (or, indeed, if!!) the rest of the shipment is going to arrive. Their estimated delivery dates are completely useless and incorrect, too, since the missing shipments still say "estimated delivery 6-8 days ago" This was only for one team and one specific event, and we were looking for a print provider who we could work with in the future for the rest or our company, unfortunately, this is not a viable solution for us, as we need to be able to rely on consistent service, fulfilment, and delivery.

Excellent Print Quality and Easy-to-Use Platform

All fine until something goes wrong....

I used Printful for two large merch "drops" with great experience. Around 2000 items were shipped with most arriving on time and in good condition and replacements sent quickly where issues arose. I confidently started the process again, and this time we ran into issues. Due to a "glitch" on their template page 300 items were misprinted and sent out. This wasn't ideal, but I wasn't too worried as they've fixed things quickly in the past. Not this time - 10 days later and no one can give me any update. Every customer success person tells me they'll chase it. Not a single person can tell me when it will be fixed, what to do in the meantime or how to escalate the issue. They have no complaints procedure. I'm going to have to reprocess the orders myself which will cost thousands of pounds and take days. When it's going well, the company is great. But to be reliable you have to trust they'll fix big mistakes - that's not good enough. I won't use them again and I'd strongly recommend against them for other small businesses.
