Incorrect fees being deducted

I had a subscription for years which included a discount that was meant to be applied (I have the email from Benzinga to confirm this). The last 2 years Benzinga overcharged me by double what they were meant to but they did to their credit refund me the incorrectly charged amount. This year they tried to deduct nearly $2,000 even though I confirmed with them 3 times via email and their chat function in the weeks prior to my renewal that the fee would be $702 (I have confirmation from Benzinga of the renewal fee being $702). I sent them emails as well as messages via the chat function with no reply after they tried to deduct the nearly $2,000 which resulted in my bank placing a block on my account. They clearly don't honour previous agreements and try to deduct incorrect amounts and are not a company to be trusted. Edit: I see that Benzinga has replied to my review saying that they reached out and assisted the same day. I would like to see the proof because my emails and the chat messages I sent through were not responded to until the 17th July. I have copies of all correspondence that I've made to Benzinga and I encourage others to keep their correspondences with Benzinga also.

started with them 6 months ago and found they were charging additional fees that they never stated and then they lied. then they were advising against IPO of Space X, the biggest IPO in history and I knew they were just dumb. Smarter and more honest advisors out there.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. I enrolled to the 14 day trial for Benzinga Pro just to try it out, thinking it will just cancel out once 14 days are over. 14 days pass, I receive a notification I was charged $199 for PRO, and $99 for a service called Squawk which I never enrolled on. I request a refund and they denied it, saying they warned me about, in small letters you can barely even read when subscribing. No reminder notification, no nothing, just absolute robbery. Prices are hyper inflated, you're better off subscribing to Finviz, for 10x less.

Benzinga Pro is just great

Benzinga Pro is just great, their support is amazing and the customer success team as well as great. They are willing to know exactly all the problems the application has to improve it with their product team. Kudos to Benzinga and keep making a great job on detecting breakouts faster.

YOUR TEAM DID NOT ASSIST TO RESOLVE THIS. They just said they will NOT refund the charges!! NO ASSISTANCE NO HELP. STAY AWAY...SCAM!!!!!!!!! Signed up for the trial and cancelled before it finished. The billed me anyway and would not refund the money. Terrible customer service

Unable to Cancel Trial – Charged Despite Immediate Action

This service relies on auto-renewal but does not provide a reliable way to cancel before billing. Phone support is unresponsive, live chat does not connect, and account access issues prevent users from managing subscriptions. As a result, users can be charged even after making multiple attempts to cancel in advance.Customer support is extremely difficult to reach. Calls are placed on hold with no response, and follow-ups receive delayed or no replies. Even when contact is made, responses are generic and do not address the actual issue. This creates a frustrating experience when trying to resolve billing problems. Requests to speak with a supervisor or escalate a billing issue are ignored. The support team continues sending repetitive template responses without offering any real review or solution. There is no visible path to resolve issues beyond first-level support.

Lots of issues that don't get resolved despite their repeated attempts

The #daytrading chat room is good, although the mods have allowed it to be hijacked primarily by one individual who posts meaningless information all day long. The news squawker in the room, Charles Gross, is excellent. Very fast, real-time alerts that are tradeable. He is the best feature of the entire platform. Their news feed is also good. Aside from those 3 things, most everything else has issues nearly every day. Charts often don't work, quotes frequently lag and don't sync up with the charts, Key Data figures like Float, Short Interest, etc. are often wrong. They have done several updates over the past few months but the issues don't get resolved. Maybe they need new developers because the ones they have have not been able to resolve long standing issues that continue to this day.

I would have assumed the pro account…

I would have assumed the pro account came with API access however this is not the case. I tried to cancel my trial account and its not even clear if that worked. Very frustrating with the lack of context and information about the account.

What a disapointement!

You go there for the news... The alerts should be a one click thing... It is not. You need to enable them here, there, and another place as well. But.... Why??? Scanners settings do not stay saved. Had to reset them every freaking time I closed my browser. Annoying. Scanners settings didn't work well. I asked for help and I was redirected to a PDF file, that I had already read. Very helpful... not. I cancelled after 3 days. When I wish to use a news software, I don't want to spend 1 week learning the freaking software. I need something intuitive and brilliantly built. Benzinga is not that.

Great platform! Great customer service! Lucas explained the macro and the micro mechanics of the program at my pace and comprehension level. Got me off and running in two calls. Very disappointing – not customizable and poorly organized

Benzinga Edge is not a customizable platform at all. You cannot configure views, organize data, personalize news, or adapt the tool to your own trading or investing needs. What you see is what you get, with no flexibility. The data presentation is messy and poorly organized. Finding useful information requires too many clicks, and much of the data provided is not very valuable in practice. I do not recommend this product. I am trying to request a refund, but I haven’t been able to get in contact with their support team. It honestly feels like a waste of money. Luckily, I only tried the Edge version and not Pro. I wanted to test it first, but Edge turned out to be a very bad option. There are better alternatives available for free. Very disappointed. I had much higher expectations.
