About this business
Legal, medical, and Business-to-business proofreading and copyediting for people who can’t afford mistakes. Available 24/7, 365 days (calendar days, not business days).Your writing says a lot about your business. When you’re dealing with high-stakes legal contracts, precise medical text, or critical B2B communications, close just isn’t good enough. We know that even small mistakes can change how people think of you and your organization. A professional proofreader spots the things your brain skips past: small grammar slips, missing or wrong words, awkward sentences, and tiny punctuation mistakes that can make you look careless. Our Power-of-Two™ process means that every document you send us is carefully reviewed by two professional human editors, not an AI bot. It also means that our editors can add the human touch that artificial intelligence can’t. We offer proofreading and copyediting in English and Spanish. We also offer English-to-Spanish translation. You get the right level of help for each document, whether you need a final polish or deeper editing for rewrites, tone, and impact. Our editors will ensure your document conveys your message and is error-free. Our completion times range from 30 minutes (for up to 1,000 words) to whenever. You choose the completion time based on your needs and your budget. We work with standard style guides (for example, The Chicago Manual of Style, The American Medical Association Guide to Style, The Associated Press Stylebook) and, most importantly, your style guide. We're fast, accurate, and easy to work with.

Ready ahead of time with nearly a day to spare!
Revisions were easily pointed out and comments provided explanation and suggestions. I was pleasantly surprise when I received the completed copy within an hour of submitting the draft - especially when the requested completion was 12+ hours. Appreciate the quick turnaround!

I liked how my editors checked for what we had been doing consistently so far, and confirming that with us when making their suggestions. For example, Lucy noticed we had ben writing the states a certain way and confirmed that this was not correct AP Style, but was just how we write it out for our publication. I do wish the two editors were a little more consistent, because they edited the way the numbers were written out quite differently. If they were written out like the number "one," sometimes they would edit it to "1," but other times if the number was written like "1," they would write the number out. It felt a little unnecessary and confusing.

Thank you for your kind review and thank you for using our services. In a quick look at the proofed doc, we see where the editors used numerals when in the context of age or distance, which is appropriate. Please let us know where they changed a numeral to a spelled out number and we will review that as well.
