Good results! Like some products more than others.
I used Curology for several years, but it eventually stopped working for me, so I decided to try Proven. My biggest concerns were acne, large pores, acne scars, and dark circles under my eyes.
I had wild breakouts for the first two weeks as my skin adjusted to the new products (so I wouldn’t recommend starting it right before a big event), but after a month I am seeing great results! My pores look smaller, I have fewer breakouts, and both my under-eye circles and acne scars have lightened up.
The cleanser, night cream, and eye creams are all working well for me. I’m not as thrilled with the day cream, as it doesn’t absorb very well into my skin, leaves a white residue, and pills quite a bit (probably from the SPF). But overall I’m very happy with my results so far!
It all comes down to customer service, which brings the star down immensely if it takes 8 days to answer questions. You can't decide what goes into the product, they do. And because it's their decision, your opinion doesn't seem to matter. As for the skin care? There are so many other places out there that will speak to you immediately. I'm going to my local derm and start from there.
Amazing products even if I wish i had a bit more customization - still worth it!
I have been using PROVEN for almost 1.5 years and it is the only thing that actually improved my skin. I have had acne for over 20 years, tried everything. This is the only product that significantly reduced breakouts, redness and hyperpigmentation. I still get pimples but there are more like tiny zits with less inflammation, less redness, and fewer overall, so my skin has never been this good since before my acne developed.
Here are my only suggestions for the company to improve:
-it is a bit pricey
- I have the subscription but sometimes I run out of 1 of the three products and would like to order just that one sooner than later but the system doesn't let me. I either wait or order all three so I often end up with two of two products, and 1 of one product and the cycle continues.
-The scent changed recently and I didn't like it as much as I liked the old scent. I asked for it to be changed back but the rep just made it unscented which is worse. I wish I could select this option in my account instead having to go through customer service.
-the referral link doesn't seem to work, and I told customer service but Im not sure it's fixed.
I've only used the system for 6 weeks so too soon to see any true results. I enjoy the streamlined approach to my skincare routine, and the products consistency and smell are really nice. I hope to see results the more I use the products.
Being able to adjust your formula for you is great. You learn what you like or don't like as well. Makes so much sense to individualize skin care products! I love that the ingredients are natural and clean. Proven really has improved my complexion. My only complaint is the price, it's pretty steep for me.
I have been using Proven for quite awhile and even added the eye duo for awhile. I saw no results, and I use the products exactly as directed. They do not give you enough product to last from subscription to subscription, the pumps often do not work and when you cancel they will not let you return product that is delivered a few days before, never opened. It is not cheap and pretty sure I have found drugstore products that perform even better at more than half the cost. Don't do it ! Especially if you are trying to save money.
So far I love how it makes my face feel. It’s been a long time in finding face product that works for me. I’m extremely sensitive. I’m giving three starts because of the price. It’s a little outrageous. It’s $146 for three products, cleanser, moisturizer and night cream. Another $146 for two eye creams, day and night. The bottles aren’t very large, so I’m a little concerned how long it will last me. They recommend every 8-10 weeks ordered your new batch. I feel $300 every 8-10weeks is insane. That’s essentially a car payment once a month!! So, sadly, I’m not sure if I’ll be continuing with this product. I’m sure I can find something that works out there eventually, that isn’t so ridiculously priced.
I’ve struggled with adult acne all throughout my 20s and into my 30s. I truly think this is worth trying for anything struggling with cystic and hormonal acne. The simple 3 step routine is a GAME CHANGER. It keeps you from over hydrating or over drying the skin with a million products that make the skin flare up even more. At least that’s what would happen to me as I was trying everything to try and get rid of the acne. The ingredients really set this apart. It has helped clear my skin. I hope this helps someone out there struggling with acne too!!! (Pretty confident it will)
My skin seemed to change right around perimenopause, and it was difficult to find something that worked well with my skin. Proven has so far worked well. My skin is no longer dry, the texture of my skin has improved, and the red undertones have decreased.
My reason for three stars is that there is not enough product within the cleanser or the day moisturizer, the pump is faulty, and if it breaks entirely, there is no way to get the remaining product out; it's hard to see when I'm running low so I can order more if need be.
I’ve only had the set for about 6 weeks & I notice the difference. I really enjoy the personalized questions asked to get my own set and simplicity of these products. I don’t have to think about what additional products I can or cannot use - they work together. I really enjoy the cleanser- it’s got a light scent which doesn’t linger & leaves my skin in a balanced state. The night moisturizer is great- I’ve noticed my fine lines have lessened & is moisturizing enough for me. Now the day moisturizer is okay for now- it’s colder in California, but it leaves a little too much of a white cast with 2 pumps of product. I’ll change my preferences for my next shipment. Either way- it’s working for me!
I love the Proven skincare products. I am seeing a difference in my redness and hydration and some of my wrinkles. I am waiting patiently to see some improvement with my fine wrinkles and firmness. My breakouts have decreased as well. It is gentle and I have had no sensitivity issues.
I have seen an improvement of my overall skin appearance, cystic acne and hormonal acne. The smell of the products are fresh and not overpowering like others I've tried. I appreciate the description of the ingredients found in each of my products. I'm looking forward to my spring blend.
I really love PROVEN. It has cleared my stubborn acne and hydrated my skin. The only negative feedback for me would be the smell of the night cream. Most likely it is a result of the sulfur in it. It works really well though!
Have been using proven skincare for three months now. I do like the day moisturizer and the other products are good too. The reason for only three stars is the frustration of not been able to reach customer service. If you have a question or an issue, there is no way you can call anybody. You have to email them in the email is not replied for days.
So frustrating that they don’t have anyone you can talk to and get your issues resolved.
My overall experience with Proven has been excellent. I love the customization, the attractive packaging, the info pages they send with every order, the free gifts, and the quality and effectiveness of the products. All these things come together for a price that is probably very fair, but one that hurts my pocket. I’m paying for quality, but even with all that I love about Proven, I don’t think I can afford to keep using the products.
I’m only giving 4 stars as I’ve not been using the product long enough for 5. I like that the formula is based on individual needs and that it will change over time. It’s a simple process which is important to me. I’m excited to see further results!
I took a chance in switching to PROVEN from my previous regimen. Really enjoying the simplicity of the system. Overall I have noticed an improvement in the hydration, texture and appearance of my skin. I have been dealing with hormonal acne and have definitely seen a decrease in breakouts. The only thing I don’t like is the smell of my night cream which I realize is due to one of the ingredients for the acne. Aside from that it’s been great.
The texture and evenness of my skin is significantly improved after using the system. My only complaint would be that I've had some dryness and pimples, specifically around my mouth/chin area.
