Customers frequently mention that the website is extremely easy to navigate and allows them to find clear travel options effortlessly. Travelers find the online booking process to be smooth, efficient, and straightforward, enabling them to complete their ticket reservations in just a few minutes. However, some customers also noted that they were charged unexpectedly high fees and steep markups compared to booking directly through the official train operators. What people say

The website charged twice the price

The website charged twice the price of what it should cost. I was travelling to Busan in korea and the ticket I bought off this website says it should have cost €25, rail ninja charged me €50 in total after all of the admin fees. Absolute scam of a website DO NOT USE

This is a scam

This is a scam, pure and simple. The service fee was almost 80%. Only when I received the actual tickets from the rail company did I realize that Rail Ninja had shamelessly overcharged me. Needless to say this was was not at all clear when I booked the tickets. Stay away and book directly with the rail companies!

Their price is double the official price

I was buying tickets for KTX from Seoul to Busan. I didn't know the official Korail website so I thought buying tickets here was the same. It is not. The price is literally double (214K won vs 107K). Moreover, they sell tickets that on the official website are sold out, which makes me think they first get your money and then check the real ticket availability. I'm happy I discovered this before it was too late. Don't but train tickets here, there's no reason to pay double price.

Outrageous Overcharging and Refund Rip-Off

I was charged twice the actual price of my train ticket through this website. When I immediately tried to cancel the booking, the company refused to issue a full refund and instead deducted 20% of the amount I had paid. Because they had charged me double the ticket price in the first place, that meant they kept an amount equal to 40% of the actual ticket price while providing no service. In my opinion, these business practices are exploitative, unethical, and completely unacceptable. Charging customers twice the ticket price and then retaining 20% of that inflated amount upon cancellation is an anti-consumer practice that I would strongly advise others to avoid.

Disappointing customer service after immediately reported booking mistake

I booked two train tickets for the Flåmsbana route through Rail.ninja after finding the service via a Google search. The booking page strongly focused on the Flåmsbana connection, and it was only after having finished the payment that I realized that I was purchasing through a third-party platform. Immediately after completing the booking, I noticed my mistake and contacted Rail.ninja. The journey was still several weeks away, and the tickets had not been used. Despite this, my request for cancellation was refused without any possibility of a refund or even a partial refund. The only option offered was Ninja Cash, which is of no practical value to me. I understand that Saver fares have restrictions. However, I find it disappointing that there is no short correction period for genuine booking mistakes reported immediately after purchase. Many online travel providers offer at least some possibility to correct an accidental booking shortly after completion. What makes this experience particularly frustrating is that I did not ask for a refund after using the tickets or shortly before travel. I contacted Rail.ninja minutes after having completed the payment and realizing the mistake, but there was no willingness to find a customer-friendly solution. My advice to future customers: be extremely careful before booking, as there appears to be no flexibility even for immediate mistakes.

Absolutely unacceptable experience

Absolutely unacceptable experience. We booked train tickets from Bergen to Oslo through Ninja and were charged $1,450, only to later discover that the actual cost of the tickets was around $700. They added a markup of more than 50% without providing any meaningful additional value or making this cost difference clear. We only found out because we needed to change our tickets and contacted the train company directly. They showed us the actual ticket prices, revealing the huge price discrepancy. What makes this even worse is that Ninja offers no reasonable refund or compensation policy. This is an unacceptable way to treat customers who trust an intermediary to provide a service. An intermediary should add value, not exploit consumers by charging excessive hidden margins. I strongly recommend checking prices directly with the train operator before booking through Ninja.

Bought two tickets from marrekch to…

Bought two tickets from marrekch to rabat. Thought it was a okay price for one way. When the tickets was uploaded . The price on the ticket shows 285 dirham($28.5 USD) for one. So roughly 570 dirhams for two. Rail ninja charged me 1160 dirham(116 usd). That's over DOUBLE the price of the original ticket. Absolute scammers with the worse markups i have ever seen in my life. Do yourself a favor and book directly from the original train sites. Save your money and dont support this terrible company

Scam

Bought tickets from Busan to Seoul. Got redirected from Korean train website so seemed legit. After I purchased and downloaded the tickets I could see the real price which was half as much as I paid. Apparently there is a service fee to Railninja for doing absolutely nothing. This service fee doubled the price and nothing is refundable. Shit company never use.
