What reviewers say

AI generated

Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently mention that the website is extremely easy to navigate and allows them to find clear travel options effortlessly. Travelers find the online booking process to be smooth, efficient, and straightforward, enabling them to complete their ticket reservations in just a few minutes. However, some customers also noted that they were charged unexpectedly high fees and steep markups compared to booking directly through the official train operators. Some reviewers were dissatisfied with a perceived lack of transparency regarding service charges and hidden costs discovered after completing their purchases.

What people say

Made a reservation.

Made a reservation.. NYC to Boston. A few weeks later get a text saying that train was cancelled and gave me alternative for another train. Within 24 hrs I did select a the new train. Then got an email saying that my tickets were cancelled and refunded because I didn't respond in time. Ok no problem .. I will rebook. Went to rebook and that train is now TWICE THE AMOUNT. Go figure. Great way to scam people. I wouldn't trust Rail Ninja at all.

Bait and Switch

I ordered a ticket in time to catch my flight however without seeking my OK Nail Ninja issued a ticket on a later train than the one I ordered. That is a ticket I cannot use. I’ve now been waiting for a customer service agent without success for almost an hour Don’t use Rail Ninja I used them for the convenience and trust rather than buying direct from Korail won’t make that mistake again

Helpful customer service

I will be traveling wit 5 people besides myself and 2 of those are toddlers. I was looking forward to a compartment but they were only available at 6;39, too early; or 17:49 which is too late. So we will travel 2nd class. The agent that helped me change from the 6:39 time to 10:49 was very helpful and efficient. When the chat line failed, she went to email so we could complete our business. Much appreciated, Dubravka.

Scammers

Me sentí completamente engañada y estafada. ⚠️ Revisen siempre Omio y, sobre todo, la página oficial de ÖBB antes de comprar en Rail Ninja. No recomiendo esta empresa en absoluto. I bought 3 ÖBB train tickets through Rail Ninja for USD 183. Immediately after purchasing, I checked Omio, where the exact same train was €21.89 per ticket, and the official ÖBB website, where it was only €19.90 per ticket. The 3 tickets therefore cost €59.70 directly from ÖBB. I contacted Rail Ninja immediately to cancel, but instead of acknowledging this outrageous price difference, they told me I should have “read what I was purchasing.” If I had known I was being charged such an absurd markup, I would obviously never have bought through them. They offered only a USD 50 refund. I felt completely misled and taken advantage of. ⚠️ Always check Omio and, above all, the official ÖBB website before booking through Rail Ninja. I absolutely do not recommend this company.

DO NOT USE RAIL NINJA ABSOLUTE SCAM

DO NOT USE RAIL NINJA ABSOLUTE SCAM The mark up is nearly double the price with rubbish customer service and cancellation policies. It is NEGLIGENT for any reputable website to refer you to use rail ninja. Book your travel directly through the transport operator. We request a partial refund as compensation for the loss incurred and unconscionable profit made by Rail Ninja - company should be shut down.

Bad customer service

I was searching for an eco-friendly way to travel from Larvik to Uppsala. In Rail Ninja, it said I should book the first part of my train ride (Larvik to Oslo) separately, which I did. That first train was incredibly delayed. I tried to contact Rail Ninja to change the time of my ticket, which was not possible. I understand that bureaucratically they don't have to change the time of my ticket, but their own website said that I should book it separately. Good customer service would just help a customer in a situation like this, it is out of my control and now I'm stranded. The ticket was incredibly expensive for me...

We paid double + .....the standard fee

We paid double + .....the standard fee Me and my wife we were both sitting on a corridor in different seats instead of a 6 compartment wagon we booked... We paid 227 euros per person from Bergen to Oslo... The conductor on the train informed us that the seats we were sitting were 100 - 130 euros maximum.
