Making the order was intuitive and quick, the only problem was that no mistakes could be made using the one-time code, a new one had to be sent in each case.

Easy so far but a little misleading
Easy so far, but I would be more comfortable if I had my actual tickets in hand rather than having to deal with a ticket machine at the train station. This part of the process was not explained when I purchased the tickets.

Scamming off people
Scamming off people, the actual price for the ticket was €38 and they charged €67.. €31 service fee, come on look somewhere else. Definitely won’t use them ever again in my life.
Don’t overpay
USD $108 just for changing dates for two train tickets (one day difference). Next time will go directly to the transportation company.
Up charges and errors
Beware - this is a secondary seller and up charges significantly without options reflecting what the train company offers. Despite attempting to add a bicycle fare onto our tickets, none was displayed and we had to change our entire trip due to sold out inventory. Rail ninja refused a refund.

I thought their site was the official site to buy Polish train tickets. They tricked me into paying approximately double what the actual cost of the train should be.

Booked my train tickets in korea through these. I noticed that after the ticket was purchased the price difference is utter ridiculous, i understand paying a slight extra for using third party, but i pretty much brought 2 tickets for the price of one, and its not even a good seat, i could have brought a first class bullet train seat for less. I deploy people to do your research, do not use these scammers.

the web site states 1 day for tickets and confirmation.after booking in january for a trip in July from Budapest to Vienna and after several comunications with various agents in may i fanally cancelled because i had not received any tickets.they kept telling me it was coming soon ???? are they a scam ? probably.
Easy-to-use service
Easy-to-use service. Good communication, although I was confused that the seats I was given were numbered 25 and 29. However, I was able to find the train seating plan online and find out that these seats are opposite each other and by the window. It would have been helpful if this information had been given in the ticket email.

Used in Korea. I was on the website “KoreanTrain.com” I was in a hurry and thought I was on the official website but I was redirected to RailNinja. Tickets had a 100%+ markup fee. And the tickets would have taken 24 hours to process. Through the app I was able to cancel for a whopping 29% fee. Booked through a reputable source instead, even with the massive cancellation fee it was still cheaper

Scam
I booked tickets in advance for a semi-long distance trip in Portugal. Over a month later, I still have not received the tickets I paid 150 euros for. The email "receipt" they send you are NOT tickets. It seems very sketchy.
Railninja is just awful
Railninja is just awful. They should be totally avoided. I bought a ticket from them in September 2025, only last week they made another charge for that ride (Salzburg to Vienna, Oct 31 2025). I responded with an email to them but no reply. My view is that they are trying to charge me for a voucher they provided to me after my complaining to them. Avoid them.

I used Rail Ninja to book my bullet train tickets from Shanghai to Beijing, and overall the experience was smooth and convenient. In January 2026 I booked and paid for two sleeper cabins from Helsinki to Rovaniemi in Finland for 20 December. They took the money but said tickets wouldn't be issued until later in the year. Now in June they just cancelled the booking with no explanation and I couldn't get the same bookings through another company as the sleeper cabins were booked out. My family from Australia had the exact same experience with the same trains. As far as I can see Rail Ninja are a rip off company. They refunded the train fares I paid but that's not the point. Their level of service was zero or below zero and I'll never use them again,
