Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently mention that the website is extremely easy to navigate and allows them to find clear travel options effortlessly. Travelers find the online booking process to be smooth, efficient, and straightforward, enabling them to complete their ticket reservations in just a few minutes.
However, some customers also noted that they were charged unexpectedly high fees and steep markups compared to booking directly through the official train operators. Some reviewers were dissatisfied with a perceived lack of transparency regarding service charges and hidden costs discovered after completing their purchases.

They’re only reason I’m not giving five stars is because when I had to enter my country, the scrolling was really hard to do. The whole screen, which scroll instead of just a selection of countries so it took me quite a bit of time.
It was easy to negotiate our way through the information that was provided. My rating from 5 to 4 was because we had to end up paying more than advertised for our train fares. We are very pleased to have tickets & look forward to exploring a part of the USA we have not been to before (we live in Australia)
I purchased a ticket from Seoul to Jeonju, Korea, but the cost was significantly higher than the actual price of the ticket. I bought the ticket a month before the departure date and noticed a huge price difference when comparing it to other websites, such as Klook.
When I contacted customer service, it took about 10 minutes to reach an agent. I understand that a service fee is applicable, but I requested either a cash refund or a price match. The agent, Vladislav, offered me $80 USD Ninja cash for future use or $40 USD as a goodwill gesture. I sent another message to inquire further, but the response took over 10 minutes. Eventually, I was advised to submit my claim in writing.
In the future, I recommend looking at other service providers before booking with Rail Ninja, as they do not offer price adjustments and have a SIGNIFICANT markup on their prices.
I love the logo. The process of booking is pretty smooth. However sometimes the email with the booking attachment does not arrive and I have to contact rail ninja to re send. Generally however it is a friendly and efficient booking service.
Everything worked out fine, although I was first a little irritated that I had to wait for the tickets for some time, but the internet page informed the customer that tickets are usually delivered within one business day (I only had to wait for 30 min).
Recommended by a family member, web site not the easiest to use but got there and the customer service so far has been very good, trip not until Sept but hopefully all will go smoothly
DO NOT BUY FROM RAIL NINJA! PREDATORY MIDDLEMAN & TOTAL RIP-OFF!
Do not use Rail Ninja! I just purchased two train tickets from Lisbon to Porto through their website for €134. Right after buying, I checked the official website of the Portuguese national railway, Comboios de Portugal (CP), and found the exact same tickets selling for only €74.Rail Ninja charged me an hidden, massive markup of €60 for a service they do not own. When I realized this and tried to launch a formal claim with their customer support to resolve the issue, they completely blocked me off and refused to communicate. They are an unofficial third-party reseller that uses aggressive search ads to trick travelers into thinking they are booking through the official train company. Save your money and avoid the headache. Only buy your tickets directly from the official website: cp.pt.
Reasonably easy to use. Did not know that seat reservation was not available on this train until booking completed.

Thank you for your feedback, Leslie! We’re glad to hear the booking process felt smooth overall.
We understand the surprise regarding seat reservations. On some trains, seat selection is not available as it depends on the train operator’s policy.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It really helps us improve clarity for future travelers.
Booking was fine and I would recommend Rail Ninja. Though in China, there is no need or way to retrieve tickets using the code they email you, as your passport is your ticket.

Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope you have many great journeys ahead!
It is very easy to find the ticket that I want; however, I encountered a problem with my first and last name on my ticket when I received my booking confirmation. Your system did not provide separate fields for the first and last name, only a single field to insert the name. My full name is CHIA CHEN HO (first name is CHIA CHEN and last name is HO), but the name on the tickets shows CHIA as the last name and CHENHO as the first name. It is really confusing. It seems I also cannot modify the name anymore. However, it is mentioned on your website that the ticket can be changed or modified before July 4.Anyway, I have contacted customer service and I have been told it should be okay to use these tickets (for 2 people).

Thank you for your feedback, Chia Chen! We're sorry for the confusion caused by the name format on your ticket.
However, as our support team confirmed, your tickets are valid and fully fine for travel for both passengers. If you need anything else, our Support Team is here to help.
