Recoverit couldn't bring my files back

Sorry, didn't work for me. None of my lost music files where detected nor recovered. I got a refund of my purchase and the renewal payment was canceled by Wondershare. Thank you Kayla!

Looks nice, but didn't work for me

This product didn't work for me, the drive had catastrophically failed. The interface was nice, and it looked like it would be easy to use, if I could have made it that far. I worked with Wondershare support and they are issuing a refund. So 3 stars for ease of use, and subsequent refund, but since it didn't work for me, I can't give 5 stars.

This product recovered My children's baby pictures and videos

I had several older drives that served as a VHS to AVI (digital) library of my kid's childhood videos. The VHS tapes were no longer readable and the kid's videos converted to AVI files were not readable because the hard drives failed. It's been years since I accessed the disks and I felt sick! Using Recoverit, I was able to restore a large percentage of the files and I am forever grateful. It appears the File Allocation Table had gone corrupt due to mechanical issues with the drive.

I'm trying to be fair to this company

I'm trying to be fair to this company. It's not cheap - $80+ or so and I only wanted it to recover files from one disc but it seems I have to pay for monthly charge. It did recover the files - kind of - but nothing bigger than 134.2MB which is about 12 mins of audio. My files are usually recordings of 120 mins but no warning of this before they took the money. Tried to contact customer service via chat but it insisted on email conversation instead. Poor. Why isn't there a one-off payment rather than a month-long subscription? This is very dispiriting as some of the reviews here were very good.

Very good!!

After a catastrophic crash of my computer, losing all my pictures and documents, including backup, this program got me back 99% of my files. Was very well worth the money!

Good software d(^_^)b

Good software. I was able to recover 500 GB lost on my external drive. But when analyzing the elements of my lost disk, it would have been more interesting to be able to save at any time our outstanding analysis and resume it later until the end. Perhaps via a backup point from a file to be loaded. If this option exists, please let us know. I recommend this product.

How to saave a scan

Scanned an external hard disk. After can was finished i had no time to recover, so i searched how i can save the scan and call it next day for recover. Did not found how to do this, and no manual explains it. Pitiful experience!

Free version finds recoverable files before you need to pay

The best part about Recoverit is the free version allows you to see how many files you can recover BEFORE deciding if you need to pay (others I checked make you buy first and then....good luck!!) ........After getting an iPhone, I hardly used my digital camera, and only recently noticed my digital camera photos were no longer on my computer. Recoverit was able to restore the pictures from my last upload 6 years ago, but could not get anything older than that -- I guess my SD memory card had been overwritten.

Thanks to Recoverit I could trace back my unsaved Word document which I made in preparation for my exam the next day. However, I could only retrieve 1 of the 2 unsaved Word documents and the one I got back could not be opened in a Word document anymore.. after three hours of mentally breaking down, Wordpad could luckily open the file which I copy pasted into Word again. So happy! The monthly and yearly price is not very different though and quite high to be honest..

Excellent - BUT

Paid for the full version and was very happy with the results - BUT - the recovery is difficult and the disc is obstinate and will take several weeks {24 hours and at 5%} to complete. Here in Thailand we often have power cuts and there is no way to save the recovered files whilst the program is running - I'll probably get them back - but when? - having to restart the process all over again. This 'Save as recover' would be an excellent feature to add to an already excellent program.

Not all of my lost files were found, but I did get most of them. Great software, although is very expensive.
