I used this to try to recover data from a corrupt usb drive, after running it I was presented with the same corrupt files as before. Unfortunately this program does not seem to work.
After contacting the help desk regarding the issue with the program, I was promptly refunded the cost. Thank you to the wondershare team for doing this with minimal fuss.

I wish I could leave less than 1 start. I had a paper due for a law school class. Word would not open the file after I typed the paper. So I downloaded the free trial but it will not do recovery. So I paid for Wondershare Recoverit, including all the foreign transaction fees (3 of them), more than $80 USD. The program DID NOT recover my paper and after several days of them having their programmer manually repair my paper it was too late to submit the original paper. Wondershare WILL NOT refund my money, despite the fact they had to have a programmer manually repair my paper because their product does not work. So I do not recommend this product at all nor was their customer service helpful. Basically, it is a case of buyer beware.

Worst! Ive tried many data recovery software to recover some deleted video files. There was promise in this software due to the advanced recovery of it recovery fragmented files. Well after a day and a half of scanning a 500GB external disk, I come to find that 99% of the video files found were not playing and even their video repair tool was useless.
I have corrupted files that regular data recovery software (not even accounting for fragments) was able to find at least partially, and Wondershare could not. Not only corrupted files but FULLY INTACT FILES found on other software Wondershare could not recover them in a playable or even repairable state. What a rip off. I would like a refund but obviously there is absolutely no way to contact their support team. BIG RED FLAG! Please let me know how I can request a refund.
UPDATE: I added two stars because their because their support team was great and offered me a refund after showing them the solution didnt work for me. Additionally they added a support line on their website after I recommended it which is great to see that they take customer feedback seriously. My stance on the software itself though has not changed as the advanced recovery (Highest tier) wasnt as good as their regular recovery and the regular isnt better than other cheaper solutions out there. So i cannot give it higher than 3. Hopefully they can make improvements and I can give it another go.
So thank you Wondershare for being attentive and improving customer experience.

Positives: It recovered my files, it looks pretty and elagent.
Negatives: There was NO support for this product with their agents. I spoke with an agent for a while and they were not a high IQ person, or a person with much technical skills, and definitely did not want to learn or research anything. Horrible support. Absolutely useless. I performed a 15 hour scan of my files on a 3Tb disk, and when it completed, I went to begin the data migration process, and then program just closed itself -- no I did not click the X button, nor do anything else that would have closed it, it just crashed, this only happened once. Their Recoverit Bootable Toolkit is a horriblely written program that was obviously not tested very much, it looks like an alpha or beta phase software. Their products are also quite expensive. There are many other problems that are too long to list here. DO NOT BUY.

The product worked for me. It fixed some videos. But it is advertised as FREE. It is not. The download of the program is free but if you want to save your results you must buy a license and this is expensive. And the worst thing is that if you buy a monthly or a yearly license it renews automatically.
I would be quite happy to buy a monthly license to do this job but not to have the hassle of trying to cancel an automatic renewal or trusting that the company will do so. So i didn't buy.

The file are recovered after I created a Wondows recovery disk over my usb-files. Stupid. To recover them I used Rocoverit. Unfortunately the files are numbered and the old original file names are gone. This is not what I expected and that's a disapointment for me. Not really workable files to work with. A lot of wav-files of recording are now difficult to select.

I wasn't happy with this software it just didn't work for me and my files. However true to their word (10-12 emails later) I did receive a full refund.
Save yourself the stress and money. If I can help one person, I have done my job. Recoverit take the money but don't do their job and help with issues. I have raised a ticket to try and resolve the issue. Nobody has contacted me, instead Arjay has tried creating a new ticket to address my issue, avoid my request for a refund. Disk Drill solved it for me and worked first time, cheaper too.

I've run a check disk before and after purchasing wondershare. I did the check disk to help me make the correct wondershare program I would need. My hard drive is all clear on CD but when I run WS the program says skipping bad sectors. Just ran another CD and my HD is still clear of errors. It is a 1tb HD, with about 600gbs of data on it. And Ws only will recover 8gbs Max? What is up with the program?
