Excellent service. I had to make a claim for windscreen damage during a rental, and the entire process was straightforward and hassle-free. My claim was reviewed quickly, and the reimbursement was processed much faster than I expected. I highly recommend RentalCover for anyone hiring a rental car. It gave me real peace of mind.

My experience This is the first time I had to claim against insurace policy whist hiring a vechle abroud My experience - This is the first time that I had a mishap with a rental vehicle . The process of claim was absolutely easy. Rentalcover was professional and provided excellent support and clear communications. I followed their instructions required process providing the relavent infornation they requested and my claim was dealt with in a prompt & timley mannor. The Policy provided me with peice of mind. In this situation It protected me against this mishap.. I would totally recommend buying this insurance.

Customer service is terrible
Customer service is terrible, filing a claim after an incident is very complicated, and after-sales service is nonexistent; response times are either too long or nonexistent. I was in an accident while renting a car, and two months later I still haven’t received a response regarding the deductible charged. They claim to offer a zero deductible, but that’s a lie. I had to pay a deductible of over $1,400 USD for a minor accident.

Outstanding service
Simple to arrange, reasonably priced and whilst I unfortunately needed to make a claim, the process was simple and straightforward. Plenty of information is provided to tell you what evidence is necessary for a claim and once submitted the claim was paid in less than one working day. Outstanding customer service and an example to other businesses. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant experience
Brilliant experience! Frankly, after I ended up paying nearly £1k to the rental company for the two very minor scratches when returning the car, I was expecting a long and protracted process of getting that amount recovered via RentalCover. To my astonishment, two days after submitting the claim I received an email confirming that my claim has been processed and refund is ready to be sent to my bank account. I will definitely use RentalCover again when arranging holiday car hire in the future.
Simple claim process.
I used their premium car insurance and it was very easy to fill the claim. On top of that, they refunded me immediately. I made the claim on a Thursday and by Monday morning the money was already in my account.

I was not expecting to use this insurance and yet, even experienced drivers can have accidents… The claim process was relatively straightforward if you are digitally able, the claim was reviewed and approved in approx 24 hours, once notified I pressed a button and the money was in my bank account almost straight away…

They provided the guidelines to submit the claim. It took 1-2 days to verify. Once it verified and confirmed, you need to key in the details to refund to your bank account within 15 mins. Very efficient.
Feels like a scam as you also need basic CDW from the rental company for the insurance to be valid - only found out after booking
Booked car hire for Canada through Expedia and paid for this as part of the process thinking it would cover my insurance needs. Turns out as per the T&Cs they share after booking that you need to also book the basic Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with the rental company for their insurance to be valid which cost a lot more than the rental cover price. Would have been nice to be informed of this in advance of paying for the insurance. Be aware of this if booking through Expedia!

When I got a ding on my rental car in Italy, I assumed the insurance claim process would be hopelessly complex. I was wrong! I had to do a little legwork to make sure I had the correct documents, but found the RentalCover claim process quick and intuitive. Best of all, I received approval and payment within hours.
