Everything was going smoothly up until the closing day, I was starting the closing process, the early check in. I did everything I was suppose to. Clicked on the security questions and it canceled my closing. Still have not heard from anyone for a new closing date or what happened.

Rocket Close Completed the Transaction, But Lacked Proactive Communication

Rocket Close ultimately got the job done, but the overall experience was more stressful than it needed to be due to a lack of proactive communication and follow-through. We were buying and selling at the same time, and we used Rocket Close for the purchase side. Compared to the title company we worked with for our sale, the difference was significant. Our other title company was proactive, stayed ahead of deadlines, and provided updates before we even had to ask. With Rocket Close, we often had to take the initiative and repeatedly follow up to get updates or clarification. Information provided was frequently minimal, and we had to reach out multiple times to fully understand what was needed or what the next steps were. When we were about to close, our main point of contact was away, and we were not notified, but thankfully, the person listed on her vacation responder was responsive and able to help. While the transaction was completed successfully, the lack of proactive communication and guidance made the process more difficult than it should have been. I would not necessarily recommend Rocket Close based on our experience, as there are other title companies that provide a much higher level of service and support.

Funds were dispersed incorrectly

Funds were dispersed incorrectly. It took quite a while to seem to get support to understand that he's, they did disperse the funds but all into one bank account instead of a 50/50 ownership split. Once we were able to get management involved it was corrected. Took one full week from signing.

I did appreciate the ease of signing documents online, however, once I finished the documents I was not really kept up to date on the status of the sale. The buyer notified me the closing date had been pushed back a week and it took me sending an email twice to get this confirmed.

I was surprised that we got personal service on a Sunday.

I was surprised that we got personal service on a Sunday, I was looking for information and was able to start the process. The whole process was smooth and easy to do online. The closing process was just as easy and the speed of everything was exceptional. I appreciate the people involved with my loan they were very professional and courteous.

The process took a while

The process took a while, but it was something that came up concerning a lien. The professionals who worked with me were really good. They kept in communication with me and were very courteous in the process. I appreciate all of them. All in all my experience turned out to be very successful and I’m very pleased. Thank you.
