This was just what we needed - extra space for our small car on a camping trip. It was simple to use and easy to secure the bag. It stayed dry in the rain. We're happy with it!

I hardly ever give 5 stars but Roofbag deserves it! We purchased our Roofbag 12 years ago and we're travelling with it as we speak. We have used it in scorging sun and pouring rain and it kept our stuff dry and safe. It is one of best buys in our household. Ever! It holds all our campinggear. On our first car we used the straps bu with this car we can mount it on the roofbars. I cannot believe they don't sell this in Europe, where we live now. My advice: buy a Roofbag. It is inexpensive, safe, sturdy, easy to use and store and longlasting!
Incorrectly Sized Mounting Straps
My order arrived with incorrectly sized straps. I was supposed to receive 2 short straps and 2 long straps. I received 3 short straps and 1 long strap. You cannot safely attach it to your vehicle without the correct straps. I reached out to roof bag and they called me back 2 business days after reaching out. They did not seem too bothered by their mistake and barely apologized. There was no sense of urgency to correct the error either as they sent the replacement standard shipping. I guess they don’t care that they made a mistake that renders their product useless.

Non-responsive possible sham website
I placed an order for a rooftop carrier from this company Dec8 and never received the item. They don't answer the phone and I am worried that this is a sham company. I would not order from them again and I now am working on getting my money back thru PayPal.

Very convenient and the bag is pretty big. I used it twice already when traveling to Arizona. I put all my suitcases one large suitcase and One medium and two kids suit cases and 1 back pack with toddler essentials. I still had room for maybe two or three back packs. The inside of my explorer had extra room and we weren’t cluttered because all the big stuff was in the roof.

Can’t say enough about the Roof Bag. It takes a little bit to learn how to pack it correctly but once you get it, it’s perfect! Take your time and read the instructions on how best to pack it. After that, enjoy the extra room in your vehicle.
Awesome roof bag
Awesome roof bag! Drove from Florida to New Jersey about 1200 miles. I fit 2 pieces of luggage, one 32" duffle bag, a box, and one other small package.it held everything well and I went through some rain and everything remained dry. It worked really well to make room in the back of the car for other things during my move. So, if I had to purchase it again, I would.

Great bag for Honda CRV where cross bar spacing is fixed and smaller than 11 cubic ft bag!
I ordered this bag directly from roofbag web site to contain overflow clothing and other items for an an end of season trip from Florida to western Virginia. I used it on a 2010 Honda CRV. It was high quality and worked well. I had ordered extra set of through car straps as well cross bar straps that came with bag. I was glad for through car straps that both fit through rear door of CRV. I had to stop and tighten cross bar straps 3 times as load compressed from I 95 highway speeds. No wind noise from bag itself.

Totally organized my 3,000 mile road…
Totally organized my 3,000 mile road trip Only had to pull out the 1 bag I needed each night for inside the hotel. Tossed the big bag and the other 2 into the back seat each night. 5 days later, did the same process coming back home. There is a bit of extra room on top of the 3 interior bags for something large but flat-ish (ie: Wedding Dress). Grateful my wife found this system - made life easy on a rough trip.

Worked perfectly! Love the insert bags. Made packing easy as well as loading the bag on the roof. We kept looking to make sure it was still there since it didnt make any noise! Great product!

RoofBag works on Prius!
We drove from Kansas to Vermont and back again with the Roof Bag on top of my little Prius! It weathered a few storms with no problems at all!
Second purchase, love it!
We used this once before, then sold it. Sorry we did cause we needed it again and had to buy a new one! The ease of packing everything into the three duffle bags then loading onto the roof of the car was why we repurchased. Exceeded expectations in every way!! Didn’t move an inch during a 1,200 mile trip from Ohio to Florida (we used the mat). Our 2018 Nissan Rogue has side rails, so easy to attach with included straps. Noise was very negligible, gas mileage only slightly affected. Would recommend to everyone, but tell them to save it! Something unexpected always happens!
Great Product, great value!!!
We have enjoyed our roofbag topper for the past 2yrs and love it! It frees up so much room in our van! Very durable, water resistant, easy to use and store! We have a van without a rack on the top, so this particular product is exactly what we needed! We have gotten very fast at attaching and filling, as well as taking off the roof when we arrive at our destination. Our roof bag has travelled to the Redwoods, Washington/Oregon Coast, as well as Glacier National Park! I cannot stress enough what a great product/value this is for families without the means to take 2 vehicles or own a recreational vehicle! Well worth the money!!!
Not worth the trouble and the cost
We got it so we could have our dogs in the back with plenty of space for a 7 hour trip. It was a struggle to get on the roof. We drove for a few miles to test it out and the straps are noisy even though we had them as tight as we could get them. Loads of drag on the car which kills your gas mileage. You can't put the straps straight through the front windows or else it touches your head while driving. Not the right thing for us. After all the work to try it out, we ended up not using it and had to figure something else out for our stuff.
