I liked the a ability to contact the caregiver. she contacted me as well about any concerns, and the whole experience went better than where I boarded my dog before. I believe my dog felt better there than before.

Rover is a simple and responsive website. We’ve always had a positive experience and they check up with you throughout your job to be sure you have full info and are satisfied.
Being able to choose a caregiver based on the needs of your pet is awesome! We have a rescue dog and wanted to find someone who allowed her on furniture and to sleep with them. Also she picks at her food during the day so we look for someone who’s not caring for other dogs who’ll eat her food. Also need someone who doesn’t have small children as they make her nervous. We’ve always had great experiences with our Rover caregivers and I am happy to share this with those not familiar with Rover.com!
Maile/family were very accommodating & sent pics daily which was comforting for us. Our dogs were happy when we pu them, and they looked like they wouldn’t have minded staying longer. We would definitely have them dogsit for us again & would recommend them to others also👍🏽👌🏽🤗🐶💞

I has never used Rover before and was a bit hesitant; but we got lucky when we met Averi. She took such good care of our 7 year old Balinese, “Bali”. He has fallen in love with her in just three short weeks! I also love the Rover platform! All communications between you and your sitter are logged through and into the platform. I received daily notes and picture updates of Bali’s progress. I will use this service again and would refer others. Thanks Averi and Thanks River

Offer options to choose sitters that meet your needs. I opted for highest rated and have had excellent referrals from Rover. I choose to meet and greet beforehand to check for fit. Paying is easy on the app

I had a horrible experience with a pet sitter. I left a honest review of everything that took place. The response to my review from the sitter was complete slander and false statements. I called Rover and asked for an oppurtunity to respond to what was incorrect. The call center person I spoke with was all over the place and said there was no feedback given and I stated yes there has to be because that is the only way that I could see what the pet sitters said about me. I also stated I have the email with their (pet sitters) message and they said everything was great with no problems but after they saw my honest review they switched up and began to lie saying I cursed at them which is not true. I did not talk to them outside of the app because I wanted a paper trail. I also asked ROVER to review the conversation log to see everything I said was true and show the sitters providing contradicting statements. Erica from Rover LEADERSHIP TEAM sent an email saying "If we were to remove or edit all feedback upon request, it could cause community members to lose confidence in the perspectives that are left on Rover. " So basically what Rover saying you can tell the truth on your review but we allow the sitter to go behind and say something to make themselves look good and make the pet owner sound crazy; with no way for the pet owner to respond to the slander. The reviews on Rover mean nothing and I urge you to use another platform to get accurate honest reviews. I wish I could put 0 stars. I will make sure I dont use ROVER again. BEWARE!!!!!

Rover's website was easy to use. Easy to see sitters available hours, experience and reviews. Easy to book and pay. The sitter we chose responded right away and kept in touch. They were friendly and took great care of our pet.
My sitter was very reassuring and I felt comfortable leaving my dog. Will definitely use Rover again. This was my first time.

I did not have a good experience with Rover. The first pet sitter did two walks with me and my dogs to introduce them, seemed great, then messaged that she had health problems and couldn’t be a sitter. The second dog sitter took three walks with me and my dogs, watched them once and did a good job but then no-showed three times in a row and stopped messaging. The Rover customer service was no help. I am having difficulty getting a refund for the final no-show. My impression of Rover is terrible.
