We have used Rover several times and each experience has been positive, from using the website to securing a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter. We feel fortunate to have this website and the sitters we have used have all been very good, reliable, and helpful and we've returned home to happy and well cared for pets!
I’m pleased. I was skeptical. But now I really like it!
The app is pretty easy to use. I like the responses back and forth with the chosen sitter. Some of the pictures posted on the sitters side is not useful. Some pictures are very random and don’t relate to how the sitter would care for your dog or be helpful in selecting a sitter for your pet.

Braylyn was awesome. Rover was easy and simple to use. I found the best sitter for our dogs. She took care of them as if they were her own. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
Disgusting service poor communication and appalling customer service. Not all sitters are caring qualified or experienced. My sitter cancelled my booking midway and I am still wearing for the “management team to email me”. Do NOT USE ROVER to sit your pets.

I hate the company rover.com. Their features and ability to make connections are great but they double charged me on an $860 dog sitting experience and refused to refund me the double charge their excuse is that they have a policy not to refund after a sitting is completed. But they double billed me after the city was completed and paid for they use AI for customer service. You cannot reach your real person. And they just keep going Round and Round and Round with their nonsensical excuse not to refund me. I have clear records as to they that they charge me twice $860 for the sitting and then days later the double charge. That is not peanuts and yet I cannot get through to them.

I really like how easy makes things with my dog.
I have met multiple great people to care for my dog.
The rover helped us save our kittens life. We were in a really tough spot, xnd needed someone to fill in when we couldn't be there. The rover performed so well our kittdn is on the road to a complete recovery.
Sitter was not watching my puppy like they should have. Also punished my puppy for chewing some thing because they weren’t paying attention to where the puppy was. I felt that the reviews weee not honest.

We are both Rover sitters and have used Rover for sitting. As a sitter, Rover has been great, and provides good help through the app when needed, has good articles for self-education. The fee is worth it, not having to have awkward conversations about payment, to say nothing of getting referrals. Some of our older customers have found the app or website difficult to use. Some things aren’t very intuitive, and could use more illustration, for instance by actually showing a sample entry for booking. In hiring sitters it has been a mixed experience. We have had great ones, and some problems. Rover pretty much is hands off and has the customer and the sitters work out any issues between themselves, with the only option is to leave a review if unsatisfactory service.
