If I could give a zero star I would. The RV I rented was $475 for 4 days. You are forced to buy BS insurance that in the end doesn't do anything for you. It was $355 for the basic required insurance.
Just know if you rent from them. You will be paying a king's ransom for BS insurance. Rent from anyone else!!!

This was the most horrible experience I have ever had renting anything. I would not rent through RVShare again. The unit was not in the best of shape. About 1 week into the trip, the owner requested the unit back as soon as possible. I called RVShare and basically was given no support. I was told that if we returned the unit it would be up to the owner to give us a refund, but that they would not be involved. I also was not told that they could provide a replacement unit or emergency housing. There were terms of service that I was not aware of, such as a cleaning fee. The owner has been filing insurance claims for things that we did not damage. Overall, RVShare provided no support and the owner was difficult to deal with. If I ever rent an RV again, I will go with a company such as Cruise America.

I’m writing as a very dissatisfied customer
I’m writing as a very dissatisfied customer of RVShare.com. Here is my experience; I chose a unit and processed my rental through the site. Some time prior to the rental, the owner extended us the opportunity to see the unit. Upon picking up the unit where it was stored I asked the person handing the keys to us to give me short tutorial on operating items. He said it was not his job but he did cooperate. We found the panel showed the black wastewater tank was full and the grey water tank 2/3 full. Propane was also 2/3. He turned on the system power supply and I drove home; we planned on packing it the next day and leaving in the early hours of the next. Upon getting home, I found the refrigerator was still warm with the fins showing no cooling, though the freezer (separate compartment) was cooling. I called the owner; he was in Italy and had no person locally responsible to check out and deal with the unit between rentals. He gave me suggestions to get the fridge working. I told him I was not happy with having to take time the next day to empty tanks and top off the propane tank. I then inspected the unit more closely and found the two front tires so bald it was likely not lawful to operate and certainly unsafe. He said he would reimburse me the cost of replacing the tires. It wasn’t my responsibility to make the unit safe and should not be to empty tanks to begin a rental. I cancelled the rental and returned the unit early the next day, and cancelled my campsite reservation, losing the payment. RVShare returned 2/3rds my payments but refused to give me the remaining $2,000 without the unit owner’s cooperation which he has not given. So I’m out. This company does not provide any assurance the units you rent will be roadworthy and will not return all your money if it is not. Do not rent from RVShare if you want a predictable, safe, positive experience.

Top notch customer service !! Perry was able to make my account updates quickly and effectively so we could continue on our RV rental search!
We tried to plan what should've been an awesome trip. We planned well in advance and booked an RV way back in March to use now, in July. Three weeks out from our trip, that RV was suddenly no longer available with no explanation. Ok, things happen. We had just enough time to get our refund and book a different RV. On the day of pickup, they ghosted us. No RV. Couldn't contact anyone. Support could only process a refund that takes a week to get to us. If we hadn't been able to book motel rooms with practically no notice, our whole trip would've been cancelled thanks to RV Share. They have no backup plan, and can't even get you your money back fast enough to make new plans. All you get is a sorry. Never using them again.

We had a good experience with the owner and the camper, but a horrible experience with RVSHARE.
First and LAST time with RVSHARE!
The owner's rental value was great, but RVSHARE ripped us off. I specifically requested delivery & that happened just fine because of the awesome owner, but RVSHARE charged me $326.81 for insurance to transport the camper even though I didn't transport it. They made me pay it, or they would cancel my reservation & there was no time to go with someone else. RVSHARE IS A SCAM!! But the owner & camper were perfect. I would do business with HIM again, but NOT thru RVSHARE.

Hello Rhonda, we want to make sure you are still protected even if you are not driving the unit. We require insurance for stationary rentals because accidents still can happen when the RV doesn't move and RVs are expensive assets. Our protection plans will cover the unit in case of theft, vandalism, fire, flood, lightning, explosions, earthquakes, storms, hail, acts of God, etc.

We rented the camper for a show at the "Big E". Jorge was able to place the camper near our barn which made life easy. Since the temp was over 100 degrees, the AC worked overtime and we were able to rest well any time of day. He was flexable for arrival & departure times & date.Great service!

Customer service was over the top
Customer service was over the top. Renter had a perfect RV. My service was the problem. He came out, fixed my problem, at no cost and didn't charge me.
As a host having a listing that is accurate is super important. When I was struggling to complete an update on my own on line, I reached out to RV Share support services. I was lucky enough to be linked up with Eddie on their team. He took care of the issue quickly and with a great attitude. Very much appreciated. RV Share is lucky to have Eddie representing them.

They'll Blame the renter
1) It took two full days and 4 calls just for me to PAY THEM to rent the RV
2) The black water (sewage) tank literally just randomly came off while I was driving. Not my fault. I got charged over $1,000 to fix it.

The customer service provided by Eddie W. at RVshare is second to none! I had the unfortunate experience of reserving a camper trailer that the owner must have rented out privately for the same weekend by accident. However, Eddie made it right. He took it upon himself to call me back three times to make sure I stayed informed throughout the entire process. His professionalism and commitment to excellent customer service truly exceeded my expectations.
Garbage Company - They DO NOT Care About the Renter
We booked this RV because the owner had great reviews. However, we used the outdoor canopy on the RV for about 45 minutes while it was raining so I could unload the car and not get soaking wet. It was a normal, light rain with zero wind. One of the canopy arms bent in half and the entire canopy came crashing down while we were sitting inside. Holly and her husband came out within an hour to see the damage. I helped them take the canopy off the RV as it was non-repairable and that's when they told me this had happened 3 TIMES BEFORE. They never told me to not use the canopy. They made sure to tell me to turn off the water pump but nothing about the faulty canopy. They didn't want to come out and set up the RV on Friday when my reservation was supposed to start so they came out Thursday evening before I was there. Because of this we had no communication during the set up of the RV. Holly lives an hour from where we were using the RV and she knew it was supposed to rain all weekend in East Texas, but again, no warning regarding the canopy. She filed a claim and now the claims department at RV Share is charging me $1,500 for damages to meet their deductible. This company is an absolute joke and if anything goes wrong, you will not be heard. They have a blanket policy that covers the RV owner and holds the RV renter accountable, even for acts of mother nature. Look at the reviews for RV Share on other sites, it's laughable. 10% of all reviews are 1-star. If Holly had communicated with me that her RV had a major flaw in the canopy, I wouldn't have used it. My wife or son could have been extremely injured because of Holly's lack of communication and because they refuse to actually take care of the canopy flaw. RENTERS BEWARE.

Our first year renting our campers was a great experience with RV Share. This second year has been a nightmare. Cancelled reservations, missing insurance, changed reservations at the last minute by RV Share. It's been a really frustrating experience this year. We are frustrated, our renters are frustrated, it's just really sad.
That being said, the employees of RV Share are great. In particular, Addison, Reagan, and Jordan have been wonderful to talk with. They've tried to understand my questions and have worked hard to get resolutions to my concerns.
