Jasmeen was wonderful to work with. She had me show her some dresses I wanted to try and then pulled a few more. The dresses are beautiful. I had been in NYC for 24 hours and was over looking at dresses. I am short, a size 10 and want my arms covered, so everything feels like too much fabric. I found my MOB dress. It was actually hard to pick because several would have worked. Make an appointment! It is worth it.

I thought the jet dress was cheaply made, and not worth the money you were charging for it. The description said it included a self slip, but I didn’t find that to be the case. The dress looked beautiful in the picture, but not in person.
Reply from Sachin & Babi2026-07-15
Hi Linda,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're so sorry to hear the Jet Dress didn't meet your expectations, we hold our craftsmanship to a high standard, and it's disappointing to learn this piece fell short for you. We also appreciate you flagging the discrepancy regarding the self-slip; our team is reviewing the product description to ensure it accurately reflects the dress.

The quality of the merchandise was…Merchandise great. Deilvery and Return not great.
The quality of the merchandise was excellent however I did have to return the dress I ordered because it didn't fit. The return process was a bit lengthy. I prefer the Happy Returns that Frances Valentine uses.

NIce Quality Dresses
Love Sachin & Babi dresses and when on sale—all the better! Good selection of sizes, beautiful special occasion options and, as I said, the sales are great! Delivery is quick too. Just be sure to try on quickly and decide if you need to return as that return window is very short. I’ve ended up with dresses that don’t fit and I don’t want bc I didn’t pay attention to the return window—so watch out for that.

I ordered a dress and received it…
I ordered a dress and received it quickly and it was well packed. Unfortunately it did not fit and I had to send it back. The shipping and return was free and the process was easy. Sachin and Babi apparel is well made and elegant, and I will order from them in the future.

The customer service is really excellent. I ordered two dresses. I exchanged one for a different size, then sent back the dress I didn't choose. It was so easy and very quick. And the company responded very quickly to a question I had. As to the dresses, they are beautiful and very well-made, perfect for the event I'm attending. The only problem was choosing since I loved them both!

I recently took my mom here to find her dress for my wedding and I am SO happy we came. Before coming here we went to at least 5 other places in the city and we couldn’t find.. anything. Everything was either too grandma, too weirdly sexy or not in her size. Sachin & Babi was the first place where she tried multiple dresses that were well made, fit her perfectly and looked incredible. The styles are flattering and chic; she was smiling the whole time. I would recommend that everyone bring your moms here first!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, we hope your mom feels absolutely radiant on the big day!

It was tight on my bust waist down fitting is perfect just the upper part was tight since I have big bust and looking at sizing I ordered my size
Reply from Sachin & Babi2026-07-15
Hi Nawal,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We're glad the fit was perfect from the waist down, but we're sorry the bodice felt tight, we know how frustrating that is when you've ordered your usual size. For our more fitted bodices, we do sometimes recommend sizing up for a fuller bust, and our stylists are always happy to provide personalized sizing guidance before you order.
