I had a very disappointing experience with SciSpace. I paid $144 for an annual subscription, but my intention was only to use one monthly plan. I contacted their support and clearly explained that I was not asking for a full refund. I only requested a fair partial refund: $144 minus one monthly plan of around $20, so only the unused period would be refunded.
My credits were fully used after only one prompt.

While the support team was responsive and eventually cancelled my subscription and issued a refund, the recurring credit-consumption issue made the platform unreliable for my research needs. I hope the company improves the stability of the credit system and provides clearer visibility into how credits are consumed during AI Agent tasks.
I bought yearly premium subscription in which i get monthly 1200 AI credits. honestly for a single search it consumes all the credits and then i have to sit back until month is over and credits are refreshed. their platform does not allow unused credits roll over, making it worse. I personally do not recommend this product to anyone, just waste of money.
