Unfair Affiliate Program - Refused to pay earned commissions!
I joined the SciSpace affiliate program and successfully generated $79.08 in commissions by bringing in genuine, paying customers. I promoted them through a legitimate YouTube tutorial and a comprehensive SEO article on my software review website. However, when it was time to withdraw my earnings, they suddenly disabled my account and refused to pay the $79.08 I had already earned. Their excuse? They claimed that my website is a "general software review site" and therefore doesn't align with their guidelines. This is a completely unreasonable excuse to deny a payout after the sales were already made and the customers had paid. If you are an affiliate marketer, I strongly advise you to AVOID promoting SciSpace. They will gladly take the paying customers you bring them, but they will find any excuse to void your commissions and block your account. Save your time and effort for companies that actually value their partners.

Our guidelines describe this with full transparency during the application stage, before anyone signs up. I used SciSpace for my research and subscribed to a one-month plan because I needed it temporarily. The problem is that, to my surprise, I was automatically charged for the following month even though I didn't want to continue the subscription. I understand that automatic renewal might be included in the terms and conditions, but I think this information should be much clearer and more visible at the time of subscription, and above all, a reminder before renewal would be a much more transparent practice. The service can be useful for scientific research, but this billing experience has really disappointed me. A one-month subscription should be clearly presented as automatically renewable, without the user having to search for this information in the terms and conditions. I hope SciSpace will improve the transparency of its subscription system.
Sneaky renewals and impossible refund windows
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with SciSpace. They processed an automatic subscription renewal without sending a single invoice, receipt, or email notification. Because of this complete lack of communication, I had absolutely no idea the renewal happened until I saw the charge on my monthly credit card statement weeks later. When I immediately contacted support, they canceled future billing but point-blank refused to issue a refund (not even a prorated one). They cited that I had missed their strict 24-hour standard refund window and a 7-day exception period. It is entirely unfair to hold customers to a 7-day limit when you do not notify them that a charge has occurred. Proceed with caution—you will get zero flexibility here if you miss a charge they never told you about.

AWFUL I spent 3 hours and over 3000 credits and got nothing in return. The support told me I should restart in a new window to finish my task and not to waste credits. I wasted 3 hours, and I got nothing back. It is a bad Ai, chatgpt is better.
