I am not happy with new policy of…

I am not happy with new policy of charging $30 to change storage units. This was not the policy when I signed the contract and I feel it is disrespectful to existing customers. Any changes should have grandfathered present customers.

Just called on my way from Michigan to…

Just called on my way from Michigan to Florida . Had just a couple weeks ago talked to someone and totally arranged for a spot for my travel trailer. Now there's no record of that even though I'm receiving the "how we doing" emails. Really?!

I would prefer using the facility again than going elsewhere

I leave in Lanham, Hyattsville which is almost 30 miles away from the storage facility. Notwithstanding, I would prefer using the facility again next year because of the good services and professional approach I received. I have been telling my business partners how good the staff treated me.

Keep away

Above storage area is dangerous with only one ladder available to all twenty something top storage rooms, so if someone wants to use the ladder they have to wait their turn. all bottom storage rooms were sold out, it is dangerous hot and unprofessional, my storage is their but I don’t want to even visit that place because of how bad it is. Do not do business here

The High Cost Of Losing A Customer! (Look it up!)

Started out ok because I was in a quick need of a storage unit close to where I was moving. I thought I would only be there for a few months but I couldn't sell things as fast as I wanted and needed to rent a smaller unit. I used my credit card to pay - won't do that again. Once they charge the card it is impossible to reverse the charges. Told if I left the unit early for a smaller unit someone else wanted I could get a refund. Not true!!! They got rent from both of us for 10 days. Charged for insurance I didn't need. Promised a refund, but never got it. Total of $45 but it's the ethics that matters. RV's and trailers were always parked right in front of my entrance making it difficult to get things in and out. There was a lot of other parking on the other side of the building that was rarely used. My side was always packed. Had to move my car several different times because cars using the driveway out couldn't get out. Mentioned it but no action. So I'm leaving with no good referral for the future to anyone I know. It was clean! Probably should have marked 2; 3 is average, expected service.

Very respectful, understandable and reasonable. They will work with you with any situations. I walk in on my first visit didn't have a clue being this my first time getting storage. The gentleman was very helpful..

Clean, safe, well run storage facility

We rented a unit from Ft. Knox storage for a few months over the summer. Donna and staff were very helpful, the unit was clean and well maintained. I felt that our stuff was safe. The online billing was convenient and simple. Pricing was one of the best in the area. I highly recommend and will use again if the need arises.

Excellent Facility; Even Better Staff!

Over the last 3 years I have maintained a unit with the Columbia MD location. Donna and the crew have been amazing with notifications and updates. I have never felt that my belongings were not in a safe place while renting there. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I moved out of my storage unit in March was charged still no refund!

I moved out of my storage unit in March. I was charged my full rate April 6th. I called the office numerous times, visited the office in person and yet I have still not been refunded. I was advised that the person at the corporate office that processes the refunds was backed up which is why it took so long. That was 2 months ago. I recently called the office and was advised by the site manager that the corporate office staff person is out for afew days, tried to call me but I didn't pick up, so that is the reason why she did not refund me. I have left numerous messages, left ALL of my contact information, address, email address, work phone and cell phone and yet she made one call or maybe two to my cell phone and then gave up. I have been very patient, but this is becoming absurd. I shouldn't have to wait 4 months for a refund and any business should not rely solely on one person to handle a task, if she is out or busy there should be coverage. I need to hear back from someone soon!
