What reviewers say

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers heavily criticized the poor network connectivity, noting that weak signals and frequent disruptions made daily internet usage and online transactions extremely difficult. Additionally, customers faced major problems with billing, describing unexpected charges, unwanted automatic renewals, and a frustratingly unhelpful online support team.
Some reviewers were happy with the polite staff available at physical service centers and found the roaming connectivity quite useful when traveling abroad. However, others noted that resolving account problems online remained a tedious and stressful process, often leaving people without proper assistance or resolutions. Many individuals also experienced significant delays when attempting to terminate their long-term contracts.

ordered a bed 15th October, they delivered the wrong bed, then delivered a damaged bed, then a third attempt at delivery and another damaged bed. Customer service is awful , contact number does not exist. You send numerous emails and no one will ever call you. Another 3 days of waiting in all day and they finally collected the bed 4 months after purchase. Horrendous service. Would never use again.
I recently decided to switch from Giga to Simba for their 10GB 5G promo. Absolutely regretted it. 5G speeds are horrendously slow in my HDB in CCK. Download 3.25Mbps, Upload 1.71Mbps. The activation email also doesn't give detailed steps on how to activate the eSim, had to Google it myself. Will be discontinuing Simba after 30 days
I got a new phone today, and was unable to port over my eSIM from my old phone. From their FAQs: you have to go down in person and pay $5 to get a new QR code to transfer your eSIM to your new phone.
This is ridiculous and might I say, disgraceful, in 2025 and totally defeats the purpose of an eSIM. In fact, I probably would have been better off with a physical SIM card.
It has been 20 days since I requested for port out. Their customer service is so slow in replying my enquiries which caused a delay in my port out. I had to go to the authorised dealer to get my doubts cleared. After i made outstanding payment, wow within a few hours they replied to my answered queries. And now it has been 4 working days and still no reply from them about my port out. I don’t recommend simba to anyone. Slow customer service with no hotline. Bad internet connection at certain places.
Moved in about a year at Bukit Batok now. I am confident to say that the 4g internet connection is very bad, even in my new home. Additionally, there's no internet connection and land signal at the nearby LeQuest mall. Additionally, I need to manually top up money to renew my plan just because they give an excuse by saying they don't keep credit card information. It feels like a very rundown company. I guess that's just the quality of this company.
Connection is the worst in SG! There are issues with my phone connection everyday since I changed over. Even when I’m in the city or residential area. Avoid Simba!!!
Signed up for a SIM but have not received it after more than a week. Customer service officers are not helpful. Can is can self collect and gotten no response. Ask for refund and they say not possible. Don't use SIMBA!
Zero stars, please! Just out to scam customers. The home internet broadband must be prepaid in full and once they received the money, they continue to refuse to provide the internet service, then repeatedly asks for more money with no resolution/rectification.
1) SIMBA asked for $53+ if I’m not present for the setup. I waited the whole day but SIMBA was the one that didn’t turn up! SIMBA didn’t inform or reschedule too. There was no number to call whatsoever. Had to submit webform and wait for their reply, which eventually stated that their installer will call the next workday to arrange for appointment. SIMBA didn’t show up yet still asked me for $53+ no-show fee.
2) No internet service from SIMBA for months and counting. Again, no number to call so could only contact SIMBA via webform which takes days and drags on for months and counting. SIMBA said no issue from their end and blames my router instead. SIMBA also said they do not provide waiver for unforeseen service interruptions. Essentially they are saying that they can don’t provide internet service anytime for any duration with no refund, no consequences whatsoever since customers already prepaid in full. So we paid hundreds of dollars for nothing - zero service.
3) After reminding SIMBA that their device is the one with the red alarm indicator light on and my router is working fine, SIMBA admitted a fault was identified and confirmed with NLT/SIMBA. However, they asked for a $50+ fee! After I had already prepaid hundreds of dollars for no internet service, SIMBA still asked for an additional $50+ to rectify their own fault?
4) I refused to pay the additional $50+ as I had already prepaid in full with hundreds of dollars and it’s clearly SIMBA’s fault. Why should I pay an additional $50+ to rectify their own fault when I had already made full payment and not getting what I paid for? SIMBA then implied that I’m not cooperating since I refused to pay the additional $50+ as per their “policy”, even though it’s their fault and I had already prepaid hundreds of dollars in full. SIMBA just pulled a non-legal binding policy to scam customers of more money, and use this “policy” an as excuse not to rectify its fault by blaming customers instead, after taking my money in full. SIMBA also refuses to compensate or refund, and charged additional fee for early termination, on top of the hundreds of dollars that I had already prepaid.
5) Asked for a number to call instead of conversing via email as it’s been months and counting without internet service and zero resolution after making payment in full. SIMBA refuses to provide a telephone number and said to contact them either via email or webform. Yet they can call me repeatedly to hound me for an additional $50+ so that they can rectify their own fault. Wow, no number to call, but can keep calling me to ask for more money when I had already prepaid in full without getting what I paid for. Kept emailing me to ask for more money too, when SIMBA failed to provide internet service after taking my money in full, and repeatedly refuses to rectify or provide restitution.
They are out to scam customers of every single cent that they can, then leave us hanging out to dry. No wonder they had change their name from TPG to SIMBA. They will probably change their name again soon to refresh their scams.
The slowest 5G i have ever experienced. Because i had to travel alot for work, I thought simba would be perfect for me, not having to apply roaming every week. However, this is just a scam.. they give you just enough coverage to avoid getting investigated for fraud.
I only have one thing to say about SIMBA....👎👎👎NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL! I paid for two SIM cards and requested for porting-in existing number....and they failed to port in! 😡 They took their own sweet time and even though it was urgent, they delayed porting for more than 4 days and did not respond for more than 24 hrs and only through email. There's no one you can talk to or chat with online. Customer service is practically non existent with SIMBA. End of the day, they ate my money which I paid for the two unusable SIM cards. They expected me to pay additional for another two SIM cards for new numbers even though it was their fault with failed porting-in. Even my two sons gave up on them. We will never use SIMBA even if they offer free unlimited data plan.
No reception after being issued an E-SIM, absent customer service, slaps you with an early termination fee if you port over to another telco, and worst of all, keeps your phone number captive throughout the entire ordeal
Simba Telecom theSingapore's Worst Mobile Network Provider
Simba Telecom Connectivity at most Areas 0% Changi Cost Road, Tanah Ferry Terminal, NSRCC Resort. Pasir Ris Park, Clementi Park, many more.
Best of of all No Customer Care Support Link in Website.
Mobile Standards in 3rd World Countries much better than Simba Singapore
I sign up for broadband service on 6th December 2024. And a schedule was send to me to select 11th or 12th for installation. However, it came to shock that they delayed the installation to 23rd December and then further to 27th December. There is nothing they can do except to push all the issue relating to NetLink Trust.
To me, I deal and sign up with SIMBA and I believe they have to solve it for customer. I fully regrets signing up with SIMBA and will definitely escalate my bad encounter to other platform and all my contact. It is so drepressing to know this happen. I could have sign up with other operator and already have it install and ready by now.
I truly are dissapointed with how SIMBA have react to this.
Does not even deserve a single star
I am shocked to see that I’ve been charged on 9 Dec for next cycle starting 13 Dec. I have not given authorisation to continue using my credit card for subsequent subscription.
I have grave concerns that my credit card was charged without me agreeing and authorising for recurring payments. With StarHub, SingTel or other major telcos, before allowing the telco to charge your credit card for recurring payments, the customers need to explicitly submit a form to authorize telco to do so. Simba simply just proceeds to charge the recurring bills to the card that was used for the initial bill. And there is NO WAY to view and manage the payment method on the Simba app. NO hotline to call. NO replies to emails sent.
I was attracted to and enticed by the amount of data plan and low price. Please don't be fooled.
Data connection in Singapore sucks. I have just ported my number barely 2 weeks ago and the internet connection is very bad.
Both my data and wifi is on, but the connectivity will keep loading on and off. Sometimes saying there is no internet connection.
I will continue to trial for 1 month. If there is still connection issues, I will switch back to my previous service provider.
Oh man, I'm so frustrated with Simba! It's been two weeks and they still haven't ported my number. And they don't even bother to respond to my emails. They're the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I wish I could give them negative five stars. They should just shut down and do us all a favor.
I was at Nex simba outlet today 20nov around 2.40pm. There was a young man alone handling a fair bit of customers waiting. I would like to applaud his patience towards all the folks waiting and there was this particular old gentlemen who was giving this poor boy a hard time. But yet this boy did not show any disrespect to him and told him patiently to wait. Really kudos to this young man. I am a customer but looking at the old gentlemen attitude, I would have lost my cool. But he didn't, so I really want to commend this young man. Well done young man. Give yourself a pat on yr back. 👍
