Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the exceptional print quality, noting that multi-color prints turn out amazing with very little waste. Buyers also appreciate the fast delivery service, with orders often arriving in less than a week alongside secure packaging. Setting up the machine is described as simple, making it a great purchase for anyone interested in 3D printing.
Some reviewers were not happy with technical errors, mentioning unexpected jams and persistent mechanical issues during use. A few consumers also felt that the software requires further improvements to handle complex tasks smoothly.

In general I think this is a really well built printer from a mechanical perspective.
The right and left nozzle calibration system along with the bed 'leveling' works flawlessly and is brilliant from a UI perspective.
If you are printing PLA hitting real speeds of 250mm/s will result in near-flawless prints.
My biggest gripe is related to the filament path into the extruder. The 90degree bend is highly problematic in that it creates unnecessary friction and frequently results in filament breakage near the bend.
The hotends work well enough, though I have had issues with contact resistance to the PT100 sensor - this resulted in blockages due to a too low-extrusion temperature.
Overall very happy with the printer especially with regard to printing PETG with PLA support material. This may not be a good first printer - I think some previous printing experience will help.

Hi Torsten,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear that you’re impressed with the mechanical design, nozzle calibration system, bed leveling, and high-speed PLA printing performance.
Regarding the filament path issue:
In our internal testing, the 90-degree filament path has not presented problems under normal conditions. It’s possible that the filament itself may have degraded. For example, PLA can absorb moisture from the air if exposed for too long, which makes it brittle and prone to breaking. We recommend testing with a new spool of filament or drying your current filament in a drying box for a few hours before use.
For the blockage issue:
Try increasing the hot-end temperature by 10–20°C and then resume printing to see if the issue persists.
If you continue to experience challenges with the filament path or blockages, please don’t hesitate to contact our technical support team at [email protected]. We’re always here to help troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
We’re delighted to know you’re enjoying the printer overall, especially for PETG with PLA support material. Your feedback and support mean a lot to us. Thank you for choosing Snapmaker! 😊

I have an A350 Snapmaker. It does not say Snapmaker 2.0 A350 and it does not say Snapmaker Artisan. After struggling through your website I finally found the A series is part of the 2.0 roll out and not the Artisan rollout. Why would you do that? Start a new line with the same intial as part of an old rollout, very off putting.

Since buying the snapmaker about 3 years ago, I have not been able to use it that much because I have encountered many problems. I have changed the controller, touchscreen and power module, and still have not been able to make it work correctly. Because it's finicky, specially the 3d printer, I don't use it that much.

Very quick delivery of order, the Snapmaker 2.0 with Quick change kit.

The machine went together great Software Luban is Awful.
The machine went together great. Instructions were great on the machine. Instructions on the enclosure were very incomplete. Missed several items like where the spool holders go. The toolhead cable was two short, I reported it and am still waiting for a solution. The software Luban is FULL of bugs. It takes several reloads of the software to get anywhere. You need to save often because it will soon come up with "Something Went Wrong Reload". Infuriating for a system I paid $2000 for.

Hi Timothy,
Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the delays you’ve experienced with the 1064nm Infrared Laser Module. Unfortunately, there was an unexpected delay due to customs inspections and an issue with our logistics partner misplacing the package. As soon as we were aware of this, we immediately arranged for the module to be shipped from our Shenzhen warehouse through the fastest available channel. However, we deeply regret that this still did not meet the original promised timeline.
We understand that no compensation can fully make up for the frustration caused by the delay. We have sent a coupon code to help alleviate some of the inconvenience before, but if you did not receive it, please reach out to us at [email protected] to claim it.

Unfortunately almost 2 years after buying a Snapmaker 2.0 A350T bundle + 10W laser + 40W laser + 2W IR laser, Snapmaker is a big disappointment !
For 3D printing, Bambulab is years ahead for speed, consistent results, repository, software, updates, news features, ...
For laser cutting and engraving, Luban still lacks profiles and the few ones available are not optimized at all. And it is still impossible to align an object (left, right, center, top, middle, bottom) on a job setup.
All of this at a high price.
Bambulab and XTool are way better choices.

Just received the new 2 W 1064 nm laser module. The hardware is fine, but the software (new FW mainly) is a disappointment. It's a step back in user ease from the prior 10/20/40 W lasers. I hope SM improves the FM soon.

I have owned a snapmaker 2.0 350 for 3 years. I love the machine for some things but am dissa[pointed that they send out items like the dual extruder head that does not work right out of the box. The Chinese owned company thinks it is acceptable to just offer people a discount on future products. It's a $489 item and they offer you a $50 coupon as compensation, If they were an American company they would have had to recall them all as none of them worked. Meanwhile, they let people order hundreds of dollars in parts trying to fix them and tell people they have done something wrong. In the end, the entire generation of modules did not function. Same thing with all the first-generation filament runout sensors. They stop working after a few dozen hours use - their solution - you spend more money to replace their defective parts

This was a horrible experience. I am an experienced user of 3d printers.
The assembly went perfectly. I was very impressed with the design quality and ease of assembly. I just wish the printer would work.
I literally was unable to print ANYTHING successfully beyond calibration prints.
Simple but large format single extrusion PLA prints failed half way through. More complex PVA / nylon prints would fail after a successful start because the extruder drive would fail and simply not load one of the materials. The extruder would jam with whenever I used TPU. After hours (days actually!) of failed printing, I’ve asked for a refund and they are refusing to give one to me because their technical support hasn’t verified it. Shall I begin a 48 hour print job to wait for it to fail while they verify it via video call?
Worse, had I bought it from Amazon, they would have earned a lower gross margin. And been forced to take the return. You would think from a pure profit perspective, they would do everything to encourage a higher margin purchase directly from them. But they do the opposite and discourage direct customer service. Lesson—always buy from Amazon from this manufacturer—yes, they’ll earn less but if you have a problem you can return it.
Since, I’ve bought a dual extender from a competitor, and it’s working perfectly. With multiple materials. Just like this snapmaker could not accomplish.
I will update this review, should they do the right thing and accept my return.
