This was my third U1 purchase

This was my third U1 purchase. 1st was kickstarter. 2nd was from Microcenter. I love this machine! I was a little worried that it might have been damage by sitting on my front porch for several hours in the rain. Then I remember’d how well you pack these units. The box fell apart but the U1 was bone dry. Well done!!!

Premium filament for your Snapmaker 3D printer

The Snapmaker webshop has a large selection of different types of filaments, including ASA, ABS, TPU, and PA. The selection of PETG and PLA filaments is especially great. They all come with RFID tags that are automatically read by your Snapmaker printer. Yes, they are pricey, but there are discounts for any combination of filaments. Payment and processing in the shop was without any problem, and the shipment arrived within three days, well packaged and complete. Out of the box, the filaments printed just perfect with the settings stored in my Snapmaker U1. Overall, a great experience!

Overall I have had a great experience

Overall I have had a great experience. A bit rocky to start. My printer arrived with a short in one of the cables. Contacted customer service and got a replacement. Disappointment to start, but as soon as I started printing I have been having a blast. Great quality and I am a total noob and I have not had any issues with any of the prints I have done. I would recommend anyone getting the U1 with its 4 color options and slim waste. I am trying to get a business up and running and I will definitely be looking to Snapmaker to get additional printers and hopefully a laser cutter and CNC machine. Loving everything so far.

Did my second test print (a phone…

Did my second test print (a phone stand/speaker) well it was printing on red PLA and it looks like when I sped up the sprint speed, it was doing 22mms and I bumped it to 50, and it looked to be going fine until I woke up to the completed mess of red stringing all over the place. Middle of the print on the Z access didn't print/binde to the lower lines and it broke in half.

First printer or fiftyith, it's worth it.

This printer was easy and enjoyable to set up. The setup manual was clear and detailed, and all the parts were well labeled and easy to find. The printer feels solid, well designed, and well made. The on-screen setup is simple, and the mobile app is a nice addition that makes the process even easier. The slicer software is also straightforward to use, with good default settings that helped me get successful prints right from the start. Multi-color printing is easy, relatively fast, and produces less waste than I expected. I’ve owned a lot of printers, but I haven’t had this much consistent success with one from day one.
