This machine is easily up there with my Bambu's. The color swaps is what puts it over the top against my others. Now for the not so good. The Snorka slicer still needs improvement, it has a hard time handling large slices. Also, the Snapmaker model library is seriously small, and no search function. Overall, this machine really rocks.
Hands down this is an Amazing 3d Printer. From the waste bin, to the nozzle cleaners near the park and the included accessories - the presentation even on unboxing was superior to other manufacturers. Thank you Snapmaker for such an amazing product and experience. Delivery was very quick through FedEx Ex, the packaging itself was top notch and the quality of the prints coming out of this beast is insane! Very happy to welcome my Snapmaker U1 'Snapper' to my 3d printing family! I will be definitely coming back for more!!!
While the setup is complex, the instructions were incredibly simple and straightforward. Once I had everything configured, I had to reset the feed on tool head number 3 two times but as soon as I fixed that simple issue; I started with the first print. The dragon instead on a benchy is an excellent way to demonstrate the capabilities of the U1. My next print was the fuzzy penguin and I am astonished by it! Today is my third day and I will start printing production models to gauge the machine against my future manufacturing needs. Fabulous 3D printer.
I like the machine. Setup and calibration was start forward. Test print went when but wished there was more models in the software. Also as being a newbie to the hobby wished there was more information on using the software for importing and creating models

I'm not sure how or why my address was only half correct. In past orders including my U1, orders came to my address. This last order the address was correct but the city and zip weren't. I try to not use third party when ordering. For some reason my order was channeling through Shop app and insurance was added. Both aren't my thing. I hope future orders will be shipped correctly. My U1 that has issues with #3 tool head and really need that part. Now 3 weeks out, because of miss ship.

I'm 85 years old and sometimes directions don't meet the needs for me to put something together. The Snapmaker U1 didn't have that problem I watched a couple of the videos on YouTube and read the directions in the booklet and wala it went together perfectly and printed my little dragon the same day.
