Igna and Tomas were very knowledgeable and responsive. I purchased the California Shed for an office in my backyard. It is the perfect addition to my home. The quality of the wood, Norwegian Spruce seems indestructible. Igna and Tomas answered all of my questions before and after my purchase. Tomas did an excellent job coordinating my shipment delivery. The delivery went very smoothly. Arrived just on time. My Contractor put up the building in just a few days. All of the parts and directions were easy to understand and execute. If you are wondering if Solid Build Wood and their products are worth it, I can tell you that I am so grateful that I found this company, and my expectations have been exceeded. I love my new shed. I would order again. My only issue is that the doors do not line up so that they do not close and latch properly. I have not been able to correct this. Otherwise I give it 5 stars.

Already a bad experience and my shed hasn’t even been delivered. 2 weeks ago, when I purchased my shed, I asked SolidBuild to either deliver my shed by 7/23 or hold off the delivery until after 8/2. They request this information when you purchase a shed. They scheduled my delivery for 7/25 because that’s what worked for them! Their delivery date is now causing me stress because I don’t have enough time to build the shed before I leave on vacation. This was explained to them and they don’t care. They are in fact, now patting themselves on their backs for delivering in 2 weeks, even though I asked them to wait until after Aug 2 if they couldn’t deliver by July 24. Their website says, “Buy now and schedule your delivery when you’re ready”. This claim is NOT TRUE!
We understand the frustration here, and we're sorry this fell short of what you needed. When you ordered, you asked for delivery by July 24, or after August 2 if that wasn't possible. Your original delivery was booked well within that window, but the carrier didn't show. That left us choosing between rebooking into the next available slot, which pushed just past your first date, or holding everything until after the 2nd - thus we moved quickly to secure a replacement carrier, reading the situation as wanting the shed as soon as possible. In hindsight we should have paused and confirmed which of your two windows you preferred rather than deciding for you. That's on us, and it's a real lesson we're taking from this. We've refunded the $200 unloading charge, and your shed has now been delivered. For anyone reading: on a standard (non-expedited) delivery, scheduling depends on carrier routing and availability, and while we can't control a carrier no-show, we can and should communicate more clearly when plans change. We'd genuinely rather have gotten this right for you, and if anything's still outstanding you can reach us at [email protected].

The shed looks awesome. I do wish I had treated the tongue and groove joints and the exterior before I built it. Bermuda harsh environment and high humidity are taking a toll on it.

LOVELY COTTAGE LIKE SHE SHED. MOST OF IT IS EASY TO ASSEMBLE. WE DID PLACE DOORS ON BACKWARDS BUT THEY WORK AND NO ONE HAS NOTICED.

For the most part we have been happy with the usefulness of the shed, its size but as well, its unique appearance and design. Our start with the purchase of this was very disappointing in that when we received it, the pallet was completely broken with many pieces scattered throughout the back of the delivery truck. Having a construction background, I was at least able to put it back together. The challenges we have faced with its aging have been primarily the warping of the wood. This led to mold where moisture was able to penetrate to the interior raw wood surfaces. If I had to suggest improvements, I believe thicker panels would make for tighter connections between each of the boards. The other would be the wood itself with the possibility of using cedar for better weathering in our climate. We purchased this product in June of 2019.

Igna and Tomas were 100% available, organized and helpful through the entire process: from ordering to finishing touches I was totally supported. I wasn’t sure what size shed to order andI certainly didn’t know how to put one together…. how many windows?
