When a carrier cancels or becomes unavailable, replacement options may come at a different carrier-confirmed rate, especially on short notice. Our role is to act as an intermediary between the customer and licensed carriers by providing estimated auto transport quotes and working to secure available vehicle transport service options. Our agreement also explains price variability. Section L, Price Variability, states that the transportation price quoted is based on recent shipments along comparable routes and that final pricing may be subject to change due to mechanical issues, weather events, carrier availability, Acts of God, or other unforeseen circumstances. This clause is included to make clear that an estimate may differ from the final carrier-confirmed price. Regarding cancellation terms, Section H, Carrier Assignment Window, states that the broker has up to five business days from the customer’s first available date to assign a carrier. If the customer chooses to cancel the agreement before the expiration of this period, a $200 cancellation fee may apply.
