Kevin was very responsive and helpful. The driver cancelled last minute but Kevin scrambled and found a replacement. Unfortunately the cost increased significantly. Kevin got me the best price available last minute. Unhappy with the stress and amount of time it took to coordinate but car arrived on time and the driver was great.

Buyer beware. This is a corrupt company. They will quote you a low price knowing the vehicle will not be shipped for that price. They then double or triple the price. They hold you hostage with a $200 cancellation fee that they refuse to refund after inaccurately doing their jobs. Find other reputable companies. Do not use this one.

Harry was very helpful, and definitely worked the best deal for me, even when the driver who was assigned to pick up the car in Vail, CO texted at 10:00 to say he would not be locking the car up at 2::00, or at all. Harry got right on it, and a driver, at a last minute reasonable price, picked the car up by 7:00. Harry was always responsive and texted within minutes. Definitely have and will continue to recommend!
I received a quote in April 2026 for $650. In early May, and the day before the car was to be picked up, I was told the price was now $1,025. Like, WHAT?! I needed my car at the destination and had a flight to catch the next day, so I did not have time to get a quote from another provider. Sonic knew I was in a bind so they hiked up the price to nearly double. On top of all this, the car was not delivered to the destination (Dallas, TX) on the promised date. Sonic never alerted me to any change of delivery date. When I checked my AirTag, the car was in Clint, TX for three days. Never once did the driver communicate to me there was a delay. In short, they will tell you anything to get your business, but they cannot keep their promise. Not only do I NOT recommend Sonic to transport a car, I think they should be investigated for fraud.

I needed to ship my vehicle from North Dakota to Las Vegas, Nevada. I placed an inquiry on the web for a quote cost. I received a flow of quotes from different auto shipping companies including Sonic Auto Shipping. God do I got lucky!! Sonic Auto agent Mike Smith was the first to contact me quoting me the price with transparency and Honesty which I sensed it from his diligence in what he does. Shortly after, I decided to recontact him (MikeSmith) with my agreement for the deal and signed the paperwork. The car was picked up on time with no hassle whatsoever and departed on the journey. The shipping trip was fast in less than today I received the vehicle on the other side in las Vegas clean and intact. I give credit to Mike Smith and Luke Howard for the deal in shipping my vehicle and for the work they endeavor to make it an easy transaction as much as can be. Special thanks and credit to broker Mike Smith and supervisor Luke Howard of whom I both would advise any prospector who is looking to transport his vehicle across the US and possibly abroad to get in touch with them. Thanks again for the tactful and seemles interaction in organizing the deal for both guys mentioned above.
I had a very disappointing experience with Sonic Auto Transportation and would not recommend them. When we booked the service, we were quoted a low price to move our car across states. But on the day of the move, when we had no practical ability to make other arrangements, the price suddenly increased by more than $1,200. At that point, we felt stuck and forced to pay because our move was already underway and it was too late to find another carrier. In my opinion, this felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic: offer an attractive price up front, then raise the cost at the last minute when the customer has no leverage. Moving across states is already stressful, and this made the process much worse. I expected transparency, reliability, and professional communication. Instead, we ended up paying far more than we were originally led to believe. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others to be very careful before booking with Sonic Auto Transport and to get every detail in writing.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!! They gaslit us for weeks saying they had a driver for $1800, then said all the drivers were unavailable due to our location. They pushed the date further and further back with no guarantee, and finally said they had a driver secured for $2200. They said the only time the driver could pick up was either between 11pm-2am or the next morning, but we had already moved across the country, and the people we had there to deliver the car at the original location were leaving the next morning. After waiting another week, they finally “guaranteed” another driver for $2200. Fred said the driver would come and pick up in 3 hours, and that the transporter would reach out to us directly, but they never did. After calling and calling, the other customer service agents said that Fred was out of the office for the rest of the day after he told me he would call in an hour. After desperately trying to get someone to help us since we really thought the car was finally getting shipped, they kept telling us that they’re working on it and only Fred could actually help us. We decided to just cancel everything at this point because it really felt like a scam. As soon as I told them I wanted to cancel, Fred messaged me immediately saying he will magically be in the office in 5 minutes. Please save your time and energy by not using this business. They genuinely felt like a scam at every turn, and I’m really glad I decided to cancel because who knows what could have happened if they actually took the car. There are also other reviews online that mention having the same experience, and it seems like they might have created fake positive reviews to bury the bad ones.

When I first contacted Sonic I talked with Grace Flores about scheduling a pickup/delivery. The process was very straightforward in terms of filling out a little paperwork and setting the tentative date for pickup. At the time I was given an estimate for the transport, $1145. Grace told me that Sonic would reach out to me the week of the scheduled pickup with details about the transport company and driver. When the time came, the week of May 20, 2026, Grace contacted me with bad news. Transporters were asking $2400-$2600 for the job!! She told me that she would work on getting me a lower price. In the meantime, I was contacted by other transport companies (how they got my contact info I don't know) who wanted me to book with them, they confirmed that transport rates from Florida to Rhode Island were now $2400+. I told them I was already working with an agent. Grace got back to me the next day with a much better rate. Thank you Grace! My car was transport from FL to RI in 3 days so the job was done quickly with no issues-
