Beware. These scam artists got me for $950. Delivered absolutely zero value and no transportation. They set up a pick up at a cheap price. Then mysteriously that driver cancelled. Then as equally slick a new but more expensive driver appears. In our case even the second pick up cancelled. Then they stick us with a $950 cancellation fee!!!

Made a stressful situation so much easier
Let's face it: Having your car shipped is a stressful endeavor. I lucked out in deciding to go with Sonic and having John Gardner as my liaison. He was available to me every step of the way and always got back to me immediately. I never felt like I was left in the lurch which was hugely important to me. Also, he was transparent with pricing and I ended up paying a good $1K less than I was getting quotes for from other places. Will I use Sonic again in the future if I need them? 100%. I worked with Henry at Sonic Auto Transportation who facilitated my move from the East coast all the way back to the West coast. It was a very long travel route and despite the changes in gas prices, relocation timing, and the general challenges of the move I had an excellent experience. He was transparent and easy to work with from the start. My car was picked up when scheduled, delivered on time, and I was charged the contract price which was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend working with Henry. There are a lot of horror stories online from other companies, I had my reservations. But my moving timeline was met, my price was reasonable, and there were no hidden fees or price changes on delivery.

I recently just shipped my car using sonic. And it was a good experience. Had a slight communication issue in the beginning but all in all! Everything went smooth and car arrived same way I left it. So no complaints here. I’ll def be using again moving forward
This was the first time shipping my car. Kevin Vargas was super responsive. We had a few issues which were not the company’s fault and Kevin worked hard and resolved this situation. My car arrived on time and in perfect condition. The only downside was my cost was more than quoted but lots of things going on right now with gas prices.
They never even found a driver to pick up my car, and now they want to charge me $200. No carrier was ever assigned, nothing was picked up, nothing was done and I'm still being hit with a fee. You're basically paying a penalty just for being a customer. Stay FARR AWAY.

Once an order is placed, our team begins working to secure a carrier based on the route, vehicle details, timing, market conditions, availability, route demand, fuel prices, and seasonality.
Regarding the $200 fee, the agreement allows the broker up to five business days from the customer’s first available pickup date to assign a carrier. If the customer cancels before that carrier assignment window expires, a cancellation fee may apply under the signed contract, even if the vehicle has not yet been picked up.

Harry was easy to work with but the companies picking up the cars were more difficult. The first one cancelled and then I had to pay an extra $700. Harry worked hard to find a replacement but it was more stressful than it needed to be
Jeremy was very helpful throughout the entire process. Made the experience less stressful. And when we had an issue with the driver Jeremy was diligent until we got it all figured out.

Integrity and hard work!
As can be the case, this did not get done without a few hiccups along the way, none were in the control of the broker but Sonic (Kevin specifically) always worked diligently to find solutions and keep me informed. Communication was top notch and pricing competitive. What stood out most though was honesty and follow through. After giving Kevin my max budget, he found solutions for less when he could have charged me the higher number without my knowledge. This is the kind of thing that earns my future business. Thanks to Kevin and Sonic. Feels like I now "have a guy" for my semi annual auto transportation!
This is a follow up of my experience dealing with sonic auto transport. There were issues with timming and pricing, they called me few times before expected day of shipping to tell me that they have a couple of options for carrier companies.On the day before the expected day they called to tell me the price is going to be higher #1450 (not the $700 they quoted me) when I tried to cancel they told me there will a cancellation fee of $200 which I was never told about or signed for. they charged my credit card $250 stating this charge is for an unrefundable deposit. I recommend future customers to get every thing in writing and never fall for a low price which proved to be worthless dealing with this company.

According to our recordings and order records, a driver was assigned to pick up your vehicle. However, when the driver arrived at the pickup location, it was determined that the vehicle model was different and larger than the one listed on the contract. Because of the size difference, the carrier was unable to safely load the vehicle under the original terms. For that reason, the non-refundable deposit was charged according to the agreement.
