8 weeks later and the product was of no use…
I ordered a new guard for an electric grass strimmer. It took 8 weeks to arrive even though I wasnt told when ordering that they didnt have it in stock. When it eventually arrived it didnt fit it was out of shape. I asked for my money back. They suggested I melt the plastic and force it into shape myself. I have never heard of anything so rediculous in all my life. I am still waiting for my money back, I wouldnt order anything from them if I was you.

Thanks for the feedback on this order and we are sorry it has gone the way it has. I've had a look and I see that we did send several emails advising that the parts ordered were not instock and had to be ordered in. Because we got no reply to cancel the order we continued with the order. It is very unfortunate that when the guard did arrive that it had been produced incorrectly in the factory. As discussed once we were made aware of the issue, we agreed to the refund but couldn't apply it straight away as the accounts girl only works on set days. The option for you to attempt to remould the guard to fit the head of the strimmer was only a suggestion in an attempt to save you the hassle of a return and having to wait and source another part or a new tool. We were trying to be helpful, as confirmed via email, last night 19-11-2025, I logged into our system out of office hours and manually refunded the order myself. I have raised the issue with Ryobi as well and hopefully we won't receive any further products which have been manufactured incorrectly. Thanks Sparetoolparts

Very helpful representative (James) he gave straightforward and honest advice on parts I required for a repair to an old Dremmel I own. He also gave options on new machines immediately sending details of two machines as options to buy. I opted for spare parts on my old machine at this time, but he has secured a purchase for the company when mine finally fails.

ordered the below and only got 1 screw even though their website says 10PK (to which they have taken off but have copied text before they did) Why would i pay nearly £10 for 1 screw with delivery!! Horrible. Worse online customer service ever!! My parts were on backorder for 3 months When they finally came in stock they took another 2 months to ship out. Communication is horrible. They dont ever reply or seem to even bother reading the emails. When they finally reply its always one excuse after another. Upon the time of writing this review I still have yet to receive my items and I have requested for a full refund. If you are looking for parts for your power tool please let this place be you LAST option.

Hello We are sorry this order has panned out the way it has. The backorders were something we had to control as this is affecting all Hitachi and Metabo items not held instock. The delay in the shipping of the parts has come about as you live in the Caribbean and our usual Courier Royal Mail was deemed not to be suitable. I eventually got a suitable courier to take this order, but as explained via email, they had not showed up on several occasions to collect parts, eventually they told me to take the parcel to them! which I did this morning, before we received your cancellation email. Ref email replies I will follow this up with the team and ensure this improves. Again all I can do is Apologize and I'm sure the parts will arrive with you soon. Thank Sparetoolparts

I was directed to this company while searching for a replacement part for Ryobi hoover, it has been over 3 weeks and I just keep getting emails saying waiting for stock, I have requested a refund twice, the first time I had a reply explaining there is a shortage of stock that should be in soon, I have still not had my order and have again requested a refund but now I am being ignored. Looks like I will be contacting my bank with my suspensions and hopefully get my money back.Very disappointing.

Hi Andrew I'm sorry about this situation, on the 24th we did inform you via email that the part was on order from Germany and will be a little longer before it arrives, this is still the case, I have actually just seen your email on the 27th asking for the refund. I'll get this sorted now, and when the hose arrives instore I'll reach out again just incase you need it. As I said in my email we are not scammers, just hard working fools replying to messages on Sunday Evenings and Friday Nights
