Publishing my first book felt like a huge leap, but Spines — and especially my publisher Natalia — made the whole journey smooth and stress-free. Natalia guided me through each step with so much patience, answered every question I had (and I had plenty as a first-timer!), and made sure I understood the process instead of just pushing paperwork at me. The level of personal attention I got was honestly more than I expected. Nobody Sits Alone is now ready for the world, and I'm already excited to start book two with the Spines team.

What you need to know right up front: they expect you to pay forever. This is a subscription and if you decide not to pay them over a $1000 every 3 years, well your book will no longer be available anywhere. No, it's not that they just stop marketing it- they make it so you can no longer sell it on bookselling platforms. This is on top of your initial investment and the 30% of every sale. The only reason this is not a 1 star is because I never actually signed on the line and experienced what their services are. Maybe they are worth the blatant extortion, I cannot say. I do know that the sales rep I was working with, Joaquin, was very helpful and nice- until I pointed the whole subscription issue. Then he told me he felt we had talked enough and that I should watch their webinars and have phone conversations to clarify things because I had wasted enough of his time through email. And he is absolutely right- you can get so much more done without the inconvenience of having everything in writing so no one can point out inconsistencies later. But I don't work that way. And I don't work with people who hold my work hostage. Oh, then after , I thought, the emails were done, Joaquin sent an emoticon and tried to call me. When I emailed and told him his emoticon was childish and not to call me, he responded with another and told me to "stop emailing". Perfect ending really.

I am still waiting for a refund of 400 $ I sent as I didn´t signed any contract to begin with SPINES and I didn´t receive any answer from the person I contacted by mail and SMS.
From the first beginning they told me they will give me back the 400$ I sent just to make a reservation of a promotion.
It is not because I live in Europe they are allowed to make this kind of scam.
Spines is an amazing company to work with. I was extremely nervous in publishing my book because I wasn’t entirely sure they were who they say they were. In truth it sounded too good to be true. I’m glad to say my intuition was wrong 100% Spines is a remarkable company that pays attention to the author’s needs and is extremely helpful in guiding you to what’s best for you and not force feeding you upgrades you don’t need. I highly recommend Spines for especially for authors who are nervous and not familiar with publishing! What an amazing company… just WOW!!!
A highly responsive and efficient Production Manager
I was fortunate to have OFEK as my Production Manager. He is a very responsible and highly responsive person. What a fun it was to receive his replies to my questions/requests within several minutes. He is an efficient and helpful PM. I'm thankful to him for his contribution to have the book published within less than three months.
