Please note that storage facilities may cancel auctions for a variety of reasons. The most common include the tenant paying their outstanding balance or issues related to the lien process or legal timeline. In accordance with lien laws, tenants are allowed to cure their accounts and reclaim their belongings at any time before the winning bidder completes payment and pickup. If an auction you’ve bid on is canceled, you will automatically receive an email explaining the reason for the cancellation. Once we confirm the auction has been canceled, we will either void the transaction (if we were notified the same day the auction ended) or issue a refund. Refunds typically take 3 to 5 business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution. You will receive a confirmation email as soon as the refund is processed. Listings are based on what can be seen at the time and are not guarantees of contents or condition. Units are sold as-is, and buyers take on the risk that items may be broken, removed, or not valuable. Not every unit will contain profitable items, and this is part of the nature of auctions.
