This review is based on my experience with the platform a couple of months ago.
The platform is quite accurate for UK HMRC tax reporting. However, it is incredibly slow and does not seem to be designed to handle high-volume users.
When importing more than 100 wallet addresses, it took several days for all the transactions to be imported. Generating the Excel report was essentially impossible due to the amount of processing required. I even offered to pay for the additional compute resources myself and suggested that I would be happy to receive the output in JSON format instead of Excel, as this should be significantly less resource-intensive. Unfortunately, the support team was unable to assist with either solution.
I was on the platform's most expensive plan and ultimately had to request a refund because I was unable to use the service effectively.
Areas for improvement are the platform should better support high-volume users with large numbers of wallets (100+), and offer alternative output formats such as JSON rather than relying solely on resource-intensive Excel reports.
I reported a sync related issue and Jena has very helpful and attentive, keeping updated on resolution. She answered all my questions diligently that I randomly sent her way as I was learning the platform, providing a lot of detail.
I really appreciate the extra effort.

I had a complex issue with missing ETHPLO transactions that couldn't be resolved with a normal sync. Gilbert took the time to investigate the problem, tested the solution on a cloned account, clearly explained the potential risks, and guided me through the process step by step.

My crypto tax situation was exceptionally complex. I started investing while living in France, later moved to Canada, used multiple exchanges and wallets over several years, and accumulated nearly 100,000 transactions. Like many long-term crypto investors, I didn't always keep perfect records, and by the time I needed to prepare my tax reporting, the entire situation felt overwhelming.
I initially chose Summ because their software stood out from every other solution I tested. The platform is intuitive, easy to use, and remarkably effective at identifying wallets and blockchain activity that I had completely forgotten about. The diagnostic process was also extremely valuable because it allowed me to understand the scope of the reconciliation before committing to a more advanced service.

If your crypto activity is simple, Summ's software may be all you need. If your situation is highly complex like mine, their expert services are absolutely worth considering.
I can confidently say that I would not have been able to achieve the same result on my own. What initially felt like an impossible task became manageable thanks to the Summ team.

I was originally referred to Summ (then CTC) by BTB, and the tax reports are excellent. As a tax accountant, this is hands down the best tool I have found for handling clients with thousands of transactions. It saves a massive amount of time, and the customer service matches the software quality.
Recently, in my own account, Glenn from the support team actually went through my historical data and tracked down a root issue about my cost basis from 5 years ago to get everything squared away. 5/5 customer service. I highly recommend this platform to both peers and clients.
