I am based in the UK and I was trying to upload .csv from an exchange in GBP. The Summ platform kept rejecting this because the default currency expected on the .csv from that exchange is USD. I shared the .csv file and the Summ engineering team, updated the Summ platform to allow users to upload .csv files in GBP from the relevant exchange.

company sells a 200k plan, i have 118k transactions, it breaks get ghosted by customer service and engineers going on 5 days without a fix or solution. Im i literal hostage after 2-3 weeks of fixing transactions. avoid this company BTw I have Priority customer service

First let me say Karl was great! I was getting pretty frustrated as things were pretty hectic trying to get support this time of year. I was trying to get Karl to do a screen share with me so he could walk me through how to resolve my issues. Karl was able to do something even better and that was to create videos tailored to my problems so I could go over them at my pace. And when I still had questions I was able to create a couple of videos showing him and showed me how to fix them. Initially I was not always able to get back to the chat in a timely manner and the session would be closed out and I would have to start over with a new support staff. Karl was able to keep the chat open over several days until I was able get through almost everything. The things I could fix were from transactions I could not remember. I would still recommend anyone who trades in crypto to keep a spreadsheet of all transactions from all wallets and exchanges with notes on what they were for. It will save your sanity.

Glen assisted me in difficult situation, I had a phone number associated with an email account that is no long mine, Telstra had stripped it from me after 30 years, imagine the hassels that caused. This is a giant scam. It does NOT work properly. I have dumped hours upon hours over the span of 1 and a half months into this black hole and my crypto taxes are unresolved as ever. There are an innumerable number of faults with the software, that are unfixable because only support knows why they made it the way it is. Why is staking treated as a capital gain on the whole staked amount? imagine you deposit $1000 into a vault, and that tax year your capital gains went up by $1000? Why can't you categorize a transaction with "staking" in the name as staking? There are thousands of these. Why is swapping USDC for USDC.E and WETH for ETH taxable on the WHOLE AMOUNT? The report says I owe a certain amount, but when I click into the list of txs that make up the amount (like income), the txs do not add up to the amount. It also says I had X amount of certain coins at the end of the tax year WHEN I DID NOT. Quite honestly, jail for whoever built this.

Information was not correct. My tax expert refused to file using anything from SUMM!! Asked for a refund since it didn't provide accurate information, I and was denied a refund. I feel like I got scammed! $250 is a lot of money! I don't recommend SUMM at all!

What's annoying about this company is, it will add nightmarish situation to you by actually making your situation even more worse. This is sounding more like a scam to me now, with the F bot and agents with no real intention or idea on how to solve a user problem in a timely manner.
I have requested a refund and will dispute the charge with my bank. Stay away from this mess.
And mesg to the boot or pertain writing a reply. How better engineers who will help solve issues. People will get frustrated soon n will end up going for a class action

I was having real trouble getting my CSVs to upload properly, and she jumped on it straight away, found the exact problems, and gave me clear fixes that worked immediately. Super responsive, really helpful, and made what could’ve been a frustrating process completely painless. Highly recommend reaching out to her if you run into any issues.
I rarely give reviews, but these guys deserve it. Can't say enough about this company. I've used other services in years prior to 2025, this was by far the easiest to use.
Communication is paramount, and these guys answer the call. My 2026 taxes were done, and I wasn't planning on doing much trading, but I forgot that I authorized automatic billing.
So I sent an email, on a Saturday no less, I wasn't expecting a response until Monday at the earliest, shocked that I got one a few hours later, emailed Alvin my receipt and by Tuesday I got a full refund.
I will resume trading eventually, I don't need to research which crypto tax service is "Best" anymore, Summ checks all the boxes.
