Superprof Canada

I have been working with Superprof as a Portuguese tutor

I have been working with Superprof for many years now, and I honestly have nothing to complain about. They do a great job of connecting tutors with potential students, and many of my current students found me through the platform. Their system works very well: it automatically adjusts lesson times according to different time zones and consistently follows the payment transfer procedures. On the few occasions when I encountered a problem, I contacted their support team and received not only a quick response, but also a fast and effective solution. I’m very happy to be one of Superprof’s tutors!

I was charged a student pass and never retained any services, when I wrote to the company to request a refund I was told I had agreed, and I contested this, although they never replie dback apart from claiming it was my mistake. This is called FRAUD

Great for tutors

As a tutor, they are a great platform for getting new students. I've been on here for about 4 years now, and about 80% of my students come from here.

Overall it's a decent app

Overall it's a decent app, I found few students from thus platform but tutor competition is definitely high

Reliable, Professional, and Tutor-Friendly Platform

Superprof is an awesome platform for both tutors and students. It provides a clear, well-structured system with rules and guidelines that protect both sides. As a tutor, I feel secure knowing there are transparent expectations, and as a platform, it makes communication and scheduling smooth and reliable. Overall, it’s a trustworthy and professional space for learning and teaching.

As a music teacher Superprof has been super helpful in finding new students both online and in person. Been using for about 8 months and it's been a great experience so far!

I had a terrible experience - beware.

I had a terrible experience trying to cancel the monthly student pass. The cancel button is buried in the site and you can only cancel on a computer. I had received confirmation that they canceled it before finally funding the button. They lied and kept charging me despite me having in writing that it was canceled. They charged me basically $150 for 3 months when I canceled after the first month. Terrible service and refuse to refund you. Find a tutor somewhere else!!!! You have been warned.

A Flexible Platform for Educators, With Room to Improve

As an educator, my experience with Superprof has been generally positive, especially in terms of accessibility and flexibility. The platform makes it relatively easy to create a profile, showcase expertise, and connect with students from diverse backgrounds. I appreciate the autonomy it provides teachers in setting their own rates, schedules, and teaching approach. One of the strongest aspects is the visibility it offers. Students can find tutors across a wide range of subjects, which increases opportunities for educators to reach learners they might not otherwise connect with. The interface is straightforward, and getting started does not require a complicated onboarding process. That said, there are areas that could be improved. Competition among tutors can be quite high, which sometimes makes it challenging for newer educators to gain traction. Additionally, the platform’s commission structure and subscription model for students may discourage some potential clients. Communication and support could also be more responsive in certain situations. Overall, Superprof is a solid platform for independent educators who value flexibility and global reach. With some refinements in pricing transparency and support systems, it could become even more effective for both tutors and students.

The Ultimate Hub for Lifelong Learners

As a Superprof Ambassador, I am incredibly proud to be part of a project that champions a truly multifaceted approach to online education. What sets this platform apart is its refusal to compartmentalize expertise. Whether you are looking to master a traditional academic subject, a rare musical instrument, or a niche technical skill, Superprof offers infinite possibilities by bringing diverse fields of knowledge together in one place. It promotes a "protean" style of learning where curiosity has no limits, and I am honored to help support a community that makes high-quality, personalized mentorship accessible to everyone, everywhere.

As a math tutor on Superprof Canada

As a math tutor on Superprof Canada, my experience has been largely positive. The platform makes it easy to connect with students who are genuinely interested in improving their skills, whether it’s basic arithmetic or advanced topics. I appreciate the flexibility it offers—setting my own rates, choosing my schedule, and deciding how I want to structure my lessons.
