For those of us who self-custody and don't make a lot of transactions, Jason B is super patient and a great mentor when it comes to guiding one through the tax loss harvest process. The process itself is efficient with the minimum of stress.

I don't like that when something unusual happens with my account I cannot get an explanation unless I have a "concierge." For instance, I had an ACH purchase that was rejected by my bank, but I could not get details and could only struggle to figure out how my BTC holdings were converted to fiat to complete the purchase.

I opened the account put $1,000 into Bitcoin they froze it for 30 days thinking I was being scammed which I wasn't. waited 30 days, tried to transfer it into my own personal wallet you froze my account and closed it I can't retrieve anything for 60 days so no I don't think Swan is a good choice. I knew Swan wouldn't respond to my review..Should tell you something right!!
I am new to BTC. These folks appear to be very knowledgeable. The app is very easy to use and includes options based on what you are or are not comfortable with.

I purchased over $200,000 worth of Bitcoin through Swan and moved it to cold storage without issue. I also referred both my son and daughter, and they each purchased large amounts of Bitcoin as well. However, they left their Bitcoin on Swan’s platform. They are now being charged approximately $500 per month in custody/holding fees, which we were not expecting and find excessive. When we attempted to transfer their Bitcoin to cold storage, Swan placed a 7-day hold on the withdrawal. This has been frustrating and disappointing. Overall, my personal experience was initially positive, but the ongoing fees and withdrawal restrictions for my family have significantly reduced our satisfaction with the platform.

I used Swan for a few years, recommened it to a few. I am a HODLer. But over time I found that Swan set up hurdles, and support was poor. Alex was no help. I would ask a question and get an answer that made no sense. Look elsewhere. Be careful of 5 star reviews from people who have been clients for a week. I joined around 2020 and finally stopped using them in 2025 Such an insincere reply. Probably from AI assistance. Words are easy. They made a decent amount of money from fees off me, then made me jump through hoops, and were not helpful to actually keep my account straightforward.
