For 9 years I never really needed Trupanion until I di this last year. It has been a life saver (literally). I don't have to make decisions about treatment based on the Vet bills. Additionally having Trupanion means I don't have to front the money for his treatment and then file a claim. Every interaction I have had with Trupanion has been very positive, they understand what we are going through and have been helpful and gracious.

8+ years of peace of mind, followed by incredible service
We’ve been Trupanion policyholders for 8+ years. Like most pet parents, you pay your premiums hoping you never have to actually use the policy. When our boy developed some health issues this year, we had to file our very first claim.
I cannot praise Trupanion enough for how painless they made the entire process. From the immediate email confirmation that our claim was initiated to receiving the reimbursement in the exact same week, the communication and speed were outstanding. Dealing with a sick pet is incredibly stressful, but Trupanion made the financial side of it completely worry-free. Thank you for being there when we needed you!

We want you to feel like you're getting the most value out of your coverage plan with us, which is why our deductibles are per-condition for the lifetime of that condition. This means that while initial payouts may be lower as you work to satisfy your deductible for any eligible issue your pet may be dealing with, once that deductible is met, we can help with any related treatment costs without any caps or limits for the rest of that condition's duration - even if it lasts your pet's entire life!

A girl that answered the phone said she could not verify me. We went round and round until I finally hung up. I've had Trupanion since 2019. I called back the next day and had no problem finding out the status of my 2 claims. She told me the 2checks were mailed out that day

Really appreciated customer service working with me on changing a diagnosis on the original claim showed the wrong one. Apparently there isn’t a claim for an illiosoas strain, but there is muscle strain so that’s what we ended up using.
