I've used the Armor 7 for 5+ years

I've used the Armor 7 for 5+ years. Here's my experience... Overall, the phone is quite durable. It's is brickish. Pretty heavy. It's been used and abused. The screen glass, surprisingly, finally broke falling off a laundry basket, less than a foot, onto a single piece of cat litter. The gps stopped working reliably after about 6months. It either drops completely, or bounces within a 30meter area. As you can imagine, this makes using navigation apps impossible, with the apps constantly rerouting with the new positions. The fingerprint reader never worked very well. Eventually, it started getting extremely hot. Burning anyone who would unknowingly touch it. A nice security feature. But I assume it coincides with my next point... The battery... For as large and in charge as the phone is, the battery life was never great. Out of the box, with moderate usage and minimal background settings, the phone would last a full day at most. Now, I'm lucky if I get through the morning starting with a full charge. The factory charger, a euro plug with American adapter, stopped charging a couple months after purchase. Though, when plugged in would maintain battery level. I have to use a laptop charger at this point. I received the phone loaded with Android 9pie. Received on system update, and started having issues. Shortly after they started shipping units with Android 10. Contacting the company, I inquired as to updating the OS. They all but told me I was out of luck. As for the other issues I was having, they offered for me to send my device in to be looked at....In Europe. But first asked about water damage... For a device advertised as nearly indestructible, and waterproof. As it's my only phone, I opted not to be without for an undisclosed period of time. Aside from all that, I've been quite pleased with the device. Still operates. Takes a beating. Survived extreme hot and frigid cold. Been dropped more times than I would like to admit. Only recently have apps started to lose compatibility.

Quality rugged phone brand

Quality , unbeatable price-value ratio rugged phones, innovative brands. I've been using these for several years, and I've never had any problems with the devices. The frequency of security updates could be optimized, and brighter displays could be installed in them.
