United Masters are thieves
United Masters are thieves who will wait until you have accumulated $100-200 over several months. Then they will make up a story that you obtained this money artificially and steal it.
They gave me a chance back in 2024
By FAR the best musician support…
They have by FAR the best musician support available! They manually put ‘main artist co-releases’ on both artist’s pages after reviewing proof of co-release, a seamless process which they do so well because of their same day or ‘next day’ responses to customer service. My previous distributor Distrokid had a bunch of hidden fees and became extremely expensive and also had NO customer service, so I was looking for a switch over and United Masters are the one! ❤️
I love United Masters
I love United Masters. I’ve been using it for the last two years. I started off using a free version, and I saw how my views went up. I gained a little bit of money a little bit of fame it really helped me grow my career. I’m not where I wanna be but I’m much further and I grew so much with the help of United Masters and I really thank them and appreciate them for actually helping me become an independent artist. The technical service when some goes wrong behind the scenes is tremendous.
We’re doing great and we got this
You’re doing Great Soul and you been had this. We got to wake up & it’s beautiful. Music is what I’m passionate about. if and whenever you want to collab in any way then do let me know… I’m always in the mood to let my soul through, I’m not a rapper I’m a lyricist, But i can rap too, And i can sing as well, i write my own lyrics & i produce my own beats so that I don’t gain any copyright issues & i’m versatile if you already have a beat. i am an artist’… just like you I’m painting a beautiful picture. i make music for free because god has led me, Sometimes i curse and sometimes i don’t. I make music using my iPhone AirPods and bandlab and i record in the backyard or in the basement, i independently distribute threw united masters so there is no sold soul here. We all need to eat so let’s help each other fill up the table. i am a poet and i didn’t know it, and through my music i show it. May peace be upon you, i believe in you.

Absolutely zero reasons so join…
Absolutely zero reasons so join UnitedMasters. They promise you all these perks, but none of them matter. They're rust distributing your music and that's it. No help and no refund after the first 30 days. Nice one, UnitedMasters. Worst distributor on the internet.
They are theiving punk ass goofs
They are theiving, useless incompetent punks, they will come up with random deductions they don't clarify, with no justification, they don't follow the %100 payout when you pay for membership, they are a con through and through, Avoid like a plague that targets the wallet
Steal money and don´t answer support tickets
They just withhold your royalties and take down your music without even informing you. When asked, they don´t answer support emails. This is a fraudulent company, no wonder where all the bad reviews come from!
Great UM.com!!!
Scammers through and through, no support.
My music got taken down on their website over a month ago and my payouts are blocked. But my music is still live on Spotify and other platforms, generating money to this day, that UnitedMasters then can keep for themselves! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE I even opened a ticket on their website 10 days ago, asking to please take down my music, which they never answered. They will steal your money without any explanation whatsoever and then not even take down your music to steal even more of your money. Thieves
UnitedMasters: Where My Music Makes More Money Than My Day Job
UnitedMasters: Where My Music Makes More Money Than My Day Job! Haha, today I accidentally searched for the keyword "unitedmasters" and came across this review page of "unitedmasters.com". I have had a relatively good experience with UnitedMasters for over 3 years. There have been issues regarding rights conflicts, artificial stream boosting, etc., but all have been resolved. Initially, they only had the "SELECT" package, and there was no option for Youtube Content ID. They would select eligible songs and send you an email notification to confirm the "Content ID" (if the song qualifies). I have been with them, regularly sending new releases until they announced that UnitedMasters would stop distributing music to "Tencent Music." I stopped new distribution with them at that point, even though they were very good. Since many of my listeners come from China, Tencent Music is an essential platform for me. Fortunately, they only stopped new distribution, and songs already on Tencent Music were not affected. Now they have the "DEBUT+" package, which suits me. I still maintain a relationship with them, although I am not releasing new songs through UnitedMasters. Up to this point, the revenue I have received from UnitedMasters has reached $40,000. The highest amount I have withdrawn is $28,000. Despite some issues, they were handled very well, and I have no complaints. Even though I have a new distributor, I could switch to the new distributor, but I still choose UnitedMasters.

My Experience with UnitedMasters
My name is Brenton J. Mosley, founder and lead artist of McNeill Ent, LLC, an independent record label based in Raleigh, NC, which I established in 2019. After a brief one-year hiatus from the music industry—during which I performed opening sets for several notable stand-up comedians—I returned to releasing music through UnitedMasters, a platform I’ve been using since 2020. Under their Select membership, my debut album achieved moderate success, surpassing 50,000 streams. Following that project, I focused primarily on collaborations and features rather than promoting my own catalog. Upon returning, I opted for the more limited Debut+ plan based on my prior experience. Unfortunately, this decision appears to have come with significant drawbacks. Since the switch, I’ve encountered ongoing discrepancies in my streaming metrics. For example, my YouTube analytics fluctuated inexplicably from nearly 2,000 views down to just 30. Additionally, after proper Spotify mapping, I saw an encouraging spike: 173 monthly listeners and six playlist placements totaling nearly 9,000 streams in one week. However, UnitedMasters abruptly removed the release, citing “suspected artificial plays”—a claim I strongly contest given the organic nature of my audience and marketing strategy. I currently have a growing and engaged fanbase, with over 800 active subscribers on YouTube, 1,000+ followers on Instagram, and over 500 followers on BandLab. My artistic background includes poetic openings for comedians such as Earthquake and Big Daddy Laugh A Lot, as well as features in publications like MTM Expo Magazine (2009), the Carowinds Catalog (2011), IMDb (as Director, actor, and producer), and multiple local news outlets. My extended network also includes professional athletes—Carlos Watkins, Brandon Spikes, Keyshawn Woods, Kerrion Moore, and Jalen Kennedy—who have supported my promotional efforts when possible. Despite this support and reach, the rollout of my most recent project has been disappointing and potentially damaging to my momentum due to UnitedMasters’ handling of my content. Based on this experience, it has become clear that the support and consistency offered by UnitedMasters appear to be tiered unfairly, with noticeable disparities in how artists are treated depending on their membership level. Sincerely, Brenton J. Mosley Founder & Lead Artist McNeill Ent, LLC

UnitedMasters Cost Me Royalties
I've used United Masters since they became popular and have had multiple artist profiles with them. One of my records did really well, getting over 100,000 streams in just a few months. By then, I had stopped using them as my main distributor because I was starting my first year of college. One day, I noticed on Spotify that the song was doing well, so I checked United Masters — only to find out they had sent my money to someone else. I never got an email about it or anything. They tried to blame me, saying I should’ve kept my login more secure, even though it wasn’t my fault. I went back and forth with them over email and tried to get them to work with PayPal to recover the money, but they wouldn’t. Now, I only use them to collect royalties and just take what I can get. Luckily, the song is doing even better now, and I'm making almost double what that person got (even though they shouldn’t have gotten anything) every month. Still, it's a shame how United Masters handled it. The actual distribution process was pretty simple, which is what drew me to them in the first place. I'm signed to a label now, and honestly, it's frustrating that I still have to log into United Masters every month just to cash out. But hey, it is what it is.
