You are right! A 'person' named PAX claim you had bot streams and they keep your royalties from SPOTIFY, whom I believe they are in cahoots with. They say SPOTIFY block the release, however, they are the one that submit the lies to SPOTIFY so they would not have to pay artist.
I was terminated from United Masters, but they haven't spoken to me directly about the reasons. I believe I was wrongfully accused of something I didn't do, and it's frustrating that they won't discuss it with me personally. Despite my attempts to understand the situation, United Masters has not provided a personal explanation for my termination. I maintain that the accusations against me are false, and the lack of direct communication prevents me from defending myself or resolving any misunderstandings. Since United Masters is unwilling to discuss the situation or take appropriate action to rectify the wrongful termination and accusations, I am left with no choice but to pursue legal action in court to protect my rights and seek justice.
I am filing a lawsuit against UnitedMasters for wrongfully banning my account, removing my music, and targeting me and my husband's music. I am well known celebrity ghostwriter with music in television, films, commercials and ad placement. I have proof of all works I do including contracts, agreements, sync licensing and more. They kept taking my music down because they falsely accused me of using bots and promotions when I never did and provided proof which in email, the person name "Pax" kept rejecting my proof. They sent the same messages to my husband who is also a artist on the platform and today they closed both our accounts. They do not want to pay artists while keeping any money you make and will lie. I have found many reviews from others who have experienced this and will talk to my lawyer about starting class action lawsuit.
The plaform is easy to use but they are the most basic distributor you can have. They are not equipped to handle all situations for an artist and default to taking down music. I had a song hit 25K streams and they took the song down due to suspicion of artificial streams. Despite explaining to them that i am doing a marketing campaign in preparation to release an album which has driven the streams up, they did not change their stance and still removed my song. I also have beef with another artist who admitted to paying for artificial streams for one of my songs so it will be taken down (he paid for fake streams and his music was taken down) so he knew this would happen if he paid for fake streams for me. I explained was what happening, even took legal action against the artist who was sabotaging me and United still wouldn't put my song back up. I cashed out my earnings and still waiting for it. They are so basic, might as well be AI running the operation because no one can help with situations like this. I am now using Distro kid.

My tax form has been pending for 11 days now. How can this be? I submitted it on the 6th of march, now its the 17th. Support told me "it might take up to a week", but a week has long passed. Its not declined or anything, it just says "pending".

Great company for serious musicians. Support is very helpful and responsive. Releases are distributed in a timely manner. If you're serious about making money from your music and understand the business/aren't trying to game the system, UM is a great distributor to work with.
They sabotage your brand, dont listen cant read , steal yoir revenue, and when you want to leave the company like scavengers they wont take your music down and tell you they not paying you, this is a scam company which need to be investigated, if you want your nusic out there yeh but if you looking your revenue no they steal it. I dont recommend this company to anyone it will give you mental problem.and depression because your relize its a scam company
I have been dealing with this garbage excuse of a distribution company for months yet they have to release my music even after paying and come up with lame reasons like cover art. Yet distrokid release that same cover art on a different song months ago. I wished i never switched from distrokid bcuz unitedmasters music distribution or the company period I would never do business with again.
They took down my music after a few days and won´t even refund me.
Hey I’m NWO Foreign I’m stating to feel like united masters is a scam. Unless you pay for their promotion. I have proof my musics been play almost 80k times and they say it’s only been a few hundred. The views all come from TikTok and IG on my personal page. Which shorts ur money and prom. I know pretty soon I’m switch platforms. United masters doesn’t want break out artist they don’t pick.

They charged me for a subscription I clearly cancelled and they even send me a cancellation email, then they said they will refund me in 10 business days , still nothing , they said it on the 6th of October we the 29 ….I check in my back still nothing, lol. Not reliable AT ALL
Trash service. I have been a UnitedMasters Select subscriber for three months, until one day, UM randomly rejected my distribution, leaving me hanging. I had announced the release date of my single to followers and built a campaign around the release. The reason for rejection? I used some samples from Splice, for which I have a certificate of content license, but according to the rejection, they do not accept 'unedited purchased non-exclusive beats'. This is utter BS because I've previously released tracks where the bassline and drums are sampled and unedited, while the synth is created by myself, and UM had no problems with that. Now, all of a sudden, they do? I mean, artists like Fred again... etc, sometimes sample everything, without barely any changes, and release their stuff, and then it isn't a problem? Double standards much?

Quick release times, helpful customer service and a lot of useful features to promote your music and pitch it to big companies. Some features might need some touch ups like the Spotify pre-save which does not seem to work like it's supposed to. You cannot see the release in your Spotify library before release date and on release date it does not automatically add the songs to your library. Also the socials feature does not let you connect anything besides Facebook (which is supposed to also connect Instagram but it does not seem to) and once they are connected nothing really changes on that page, you cannot see your socials or fans and the site just says "Connect your socials" even if you already connected them. But those are minor inconveniences in my opinion and does not affect the release of my music too much so I still gave 5 stars. Also what would be nice is a feature to select the 60 seconds of your song you want to be on TikTok, since you cannot add music longer than that and it would be great to be able to choose those 60 seconds before it's already on TikTok. Generally a better implementation of your social media would be great so you could have your socials verified as official artist socials or other cool features like having your songs displayed on your TikTok profile.
