Updating my review — my earlier feedback is no longer relevant. Recently, MFA became unavailable in my region without prior notice, making it harder to keep my account secure. I hope future security changes are communicated in advance with alternative options.

since 2 years been with United Masters, I will share my experience. all was good until I started generate royalties then someone called Pax, a very rude person who's thinking his above the artist he came and told me that I'm getting suspicious streams which is a lie and if so i want united masters to prove it. an if you can not prove it everyone should think twice before releasing music with this distributor, now thy denied my messages thy took my my music down, they block my royalties since 2 months I cant withdraw my own money plus the subscription I paid they wont give it to me back.

We received reports from one of our music service partners that, between September 2022 and April 2024, there were a large number of artificial streams of the music you distributed through UnitedMasters. On two occasions before your account was terminated, our Fraud Prevention team removed a release from distribution because of these reports and/or abnormal streaming activity we identified. On the first occasion, in August 2023, our team reinstated the release because you said that you said that you did not know about the abnormal activity and had no intention of participating in artificial streaming. On the second occasion, in December 2023, our team reinstated the release because you provided evidence, after a lengthy email exchange, that you had obtained promotion services from a third-party company. Our team provided detailed advice about avoiding artificial streaming and notified you that further reports of artificial streaming would result in account closure. We then detected significant abnormal streaming activity associated with your music in March 2024, which was corroborated by reporting from our music service partner and resulted in your account being closed. Decent support but the two releases I did with them were sent to stores with incorrect metadata even though I uploaded it correctly. They seem to have a problem with properly distributing remixes.
Unitedmasters it's a great platform for independent artists, it has lot of opportunities the tool they offer you is very useful and more advanced I haven't found any difficulties ever since I debuted in 2022
Dont try United Masters if youre broke, because the DEBUT plan (or the free plan) only releases to facebook tiktok and to instagram WHICH NO ONE CARES!!! Would not recommend to new artists
Excellent service, we have been with them for almost a year. Everything worked as promised. Human support is within 24 hours by email. The app works just like the website.
Update below* Used for 3 years. Just signed by a record label and tracks get influx. Use vocal packs. Random artist places fraudulent courting claim on the copyright free vocals. United masters takes the track down. They then take all my other media down and essentially ban me for breaking their TOS. No evidence other than other guys say so. I have licenses for my content. They simply don't care. Never mind guilty till proven innocent, they won't even let you attempt to prove your innocence. This would have been dangerous if they had my entire portfolio. AVOID! Update* UnitedMasters reached out and were very proactive in creating a process to prevent this situation repeating itself. They now permit uploads of licenses to prove ownership/agreements before someone tries to come knocking. They went from being "Disgraceful" to now potentially being one of the most secure distributors. To see a company accept a mistake and upgrade their process before my eyes was a breath of fresh air and completely took the wind out of my sails. I enjoy my high horse but I must admit, I was kicked off it on this occasion.

I signed up for united masters when I first started making music in 2020. I uploaded 7 or 8 songs with them before switching to Distrokid. I had no problems switching distributers until last week when I noticed all the songs I uploaded with united masters were deleted! Not only did they delete the songs from all streaming platforms, they never payed me the $50 in royalties they owed me. Absolutely disgusting how they treat independent artists, I would NOT recommend using their services EVER.

There's more room for improvement, at least your music have to be distributed to at least 16 stores when using the free version of the app.
This resource used to be better. Now it has conformed. It seems United Masters has joined other platforms in attempts to take the pockets of aspiring artists. It was first introduced to me as a way to get started. Now it would be impossible to begin a career this way. I'd need to see some proof, some progress, Before emptying my wallet.
