They pretty much say lemme hold a dollar
they use a variety of ways too hold on too your assets and not payout and also this site really should include the legitimate overall rating which is still definitely boosted by the company with fake positive reviews, I'm sure some are from happy customers who were fortunate enough too fall prey.

Scummy crypto site, maybe not even legit. Received multiple emails to verify an account I didn't make.
Look on reddit, many people had the same thing at similar times.
They told me they deleted my details, I continued to receive the verification emails. So clearly, no data protection compliance.

Some scammer is trying to use my email or hack a theoretical Uphold account or start an account. When I try to email the fraud prevention team, I get an automated message asking me to log in and approve some security setting before they will work on my ticket.

I created an Uphold account and purchased some stock. Unfortunately, I bought right before the price tanked. I decided to let it ride for the long haul and wait until it came back up. I did nothing with the account except to log in occasionally to see if the stock was rebounding yet. I was then notified that my account was in violation of their TOU and was being canceled. I emailed dozens of times to no avail!! I asked what I did wrong and which TOU I violated and was told nothing! I asked to appeal their cancellation and was told no. They refunded the balance of my account without allowing me to wait for the stick to rebound!! Uphold is unscrupulous and untrustworthy!!! DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY HERE‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ You’ve been warned!!!!!
Worst customer service I've ever experience. If you like being able to access your money then don't choose uphold. Cusomer service responds days later. You think they'd get ai to manage help better but no they want to stay bad. I'll be you anything that most of the good reviews on here came from a bots. Look up ,uphold customer service reviews. This good reviews were bought because uphold customer service sucks. They lock your account without any reason at all or explain why it's locked!
An absolute disaster of a crypto app. They will hold your money and not answer you forever. I would definitely avoid this app forever and never use them. They’re trash and they don’t care about you and your money. Avoid them at all costs because these people are garbage at best.
