Our guide Larry did a fantastic job describing the events and house history. Had a very fun day. Though my niece did walk away with a series of scratches on her back after the basement visit. A bit creepy for sure

We had THE BEST tour of the house with Isabel!!!! She was a great storyteller and gave us the history of the Borden family and of the infamous murders. She spent extra time with our group making sure we got to take our pictures and ask our questions. HIGHLY recommend!

A desire to see the Lizzie Borden House was the main reason I made a stop in Fall River during my annual road trip up to New England from my home in Kentucky. I was not disappointed! Isabel, my tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and informative about the entire history of the murders in the house. It is also commendable how enthusiastic and good-natured Isabel was when I'm sure she's given this tour and spiel many times in the past. I learned a great about Lizzie Borden and am eager to continue studying this case. Bravo!

I did the shadow tour in Cleveland with my boyfriend Josh and our guide was Joe G. Truthfully our guide was what made it so great, not only was he very informative and basically played trivia with us throughout the tour (which was a fun way to learn things) but he also brought the spirits to life as if they were having their story told right in front of them (we even talked to a few of the ghosts and thanked them for letting us enter their place of living) and would say hi to them as if they were standing in front of us. The city lights were absolutely mesmerizing and walk wasn’t to bad either. However parking was awful to find especially during event nights, the rebol building that we meet at was difficult to find as well at first and the night life was a bit distracting to the tour and some of the places we couldn’t visit due to the commotion and high amount of traffic. It was hard to hear if any ghosts were around as well. Other then that it was an incredible experience and I’m am more then excited to start my own tours and guide the people around willoughby ohios routes.

The tour was very interesting, we learned fun facts for the first time. Megan Alves was such a great tour leader, she made it a very enjoyable time. She explained everything thoroughly and made sure we understood what she was telling us. I would highly recommend her and the tour to others. They will not be disappointed. It was also a great ticket price.

Trica was wonderful very knowledgeable and spoke up when asked. It was still hard to hear her though. Which wasn't her fault, the traffic just drowned her out.

I very much enjoyed my experience while visiting the Lizzie Borden house. From the moment I arrived, the staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my experience was not only enjoyable but also stress free. The house (and gift shop) was well maintained and set up with historically accurate props. This is very important to me. It is well air conditioned if you wanted to go in the summertime (like I did). My tour guide (Sam) was a great fit for me as I felt our personalities/interests connected. Sam was great at keeping her information as broad and as detailed as necessary all throughout the duration of the tour. She was very receptive of my questions and even encouraged them. The information she shared was both factual and inquiring at the same time. I appreciated how she kept fact separated from fiction and used prior questions/experiences from previous tourists to help us better understand the context to the story; and to avoid any confusion. In our small group of about 8 people, I was the most intrigued with the physical house and wanted to take my time looking around. I could hear Sam respectfully telling the others (from the other room) that she wanted to wait until everyone was ready to move ahead. Nobody (including the other tourists) made me feel rushed; which I was thankful for. I will also mention that when I first arrived, I had misunderstood the free parking amenity after seeing in on maps. When I got to the house, I noticed orange cones at the end of the driveway. Luckily, I was able to find parking on street and used all the change I had to cover a little more than the first half hour. When I got to the gift shop, I asked the staff if they could help and offer me a suggestion on what I could do about my parking situation. One tour guide offered for me to park in front of his car (behind the property). I would highly recommend this experience to anyone interested as the staff are both knowledgeable and skilled in effective hospitality.
